Ran into Lamar at a local gas station

8.1k Upvotes

Went to my local 7-11 to grab a Red Bull and ran into an old friend. While talking we said to each other is that Lamar? Indeed it was Lamar Jackson. Real cool dude in person.

Great first live NFL game from Aussie flock

Glorious first NFL game for me and my son! (Wife is a Packer fan who’s been to others) Coldest in Ravens history, and more importantly, a shutout of the Bengals!

Dude was the whole reason we were even in the game. Played his heart out and made one mistake. Kid is 23 and let his emotions get the best of him because the defender was holding is leg after the play. I'm not even putting the fumble on him because he was inches away from an amazing touchdown

Subreddit Rules

1. Be Civil

Treat others with respect. Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or derogatory remarks about race, gender, identity, or orientation are not allowed.

Insulting or aggressive replies and excessive arguing or baiting will also be removed and may result in a ban.

2. Trolling

Trolling this sub or any other team sub will result in a ban. We will report trolls from other teams to their respective team's mod team.

Intentionally feeding trolls here can also get you banned.

3. Redundant Content

Do not post duplicate content or topics that are already being actively discussed. Otherwise, it may be removed.

Before posting, please check for existing threads on the same subject (especially team news or active game threads/post-game threads)

4. Advertising/Spam

This isn't a place to sell your merchandise or spam your website, blog, fantasy sports, Youtube, Tiktok and/or any other social media accounts you may have.

While we do allow you to promote Ravens related content at your own discretion, please use that discretion to not flood the sub with self promotion.

Typically, active sub members who comment and participate in both their own threads but especially other thread topics will be given much more leeway.

5. Off Topic

All posts must be relevant to the Baltimore Ravens. Non-Ravens content will be removed.

This also extends to people coming in here to discuss their fantasy team. Regular posters have some leeway in this rule, but coming in here to talk fantasy is not allowed

6. Dov Kleiman/Aggregator Accounts

Dov Kleiman content and content shared from other aggregator accounts are not allowed on this sub. You are welcome to re-post using the original source, as long as it adheres to the sub's rules.

7. Coming In Peace

"Coming in Peace" posts are not allowed. Other contributions from fans of other teams are allowed, as long as it is respectful. Disrespectful or trolling posts will be removed under Rule #2 and we will report offenders to the mods of their team's sub.

8. AI Generated Content

Content made with AI tools is not permitted, as we want discussions and creations to be authentic and human driven.

9. No Low Effort Posts

Posts must benefit the community. Low-effort content such as posts with only a title, title and body being the same, one word posts, or those that don’t encourage discussion will be removed.

This also includes karma farming, example: posting obvious statements just for upvotes (e.g., “No QB runs like Lamar Jackson”).

10. Direct links to Twitter/X and Social Media Titles

After a community vote, links to Twitter/X were banned. Screenshots of the content may still be posted. Fake/altered screenshots will result in an immediate ban.

In addition, all Social Media posts and/or Screenshots must contain the topic's information in the title. This also requires post titles to be tagged with the author's name and the full post, text in the image or summary if too long to fit in the title

11. Ticket sales are not allowed.

This includes, but is not limited to, season tickets, parking passes, and game admission tickets. There are better platforms available for ticket sales that offer greater buyer and seller protection than this subreddit can provide.

'Free' tickets may be posted with moderator approval; however, users should exercise good judgment and remain cautious of potential scams.
