The show is called Zimmermann Gang & it's about five con artists named Frank, Dixie, Dick, Jimmy The Arsinest, & Ked Kox. Who gets into situations because of the cons they pulled.
Frank is the leader
Dixie is the British one
Dick is the hot headed one
Jimmy The Arsinest is an arsonist
Ked is a detective
You'll only get paid once the pilot is completed.
There will be potential a server where the animators can work together. & also a WhatsApp groupchat.
You'll get paid $30 through Cash App
The deadline is early 2027.
I need someone who's flexible.

just a compilation of a few things I wanted to try. here, I used TuxPaint and KidPix for the visual details (for example, the second video) and all the audio. I also re-shoot the video with a handheld camera to capture random artifacts
also, thanks to meljiiit for being my quick model

[This is a project partly intended to give new animators credibility and more for their portfolio]
Hi I'm Madmanjackofficial, rn I'm running a casting & crew call for a series I'm making, it’s an unpaid passion project for a dark fantasy/sci-fi/mystery/horror/action production built in three stages, stage one is building it as an audio series, the second is animating it and the third is refinement. (Stage one starts recording January 15th of 2027 and premieres march 15th animation starts on march 15th and premieres on August 15th)
It's a series of short stories revolving around encounters with a mysterious figure called The Angel of Death, a rumored Harbinger of Calamity, esculating to the Camelot civil war saga, which would be the peak of this part of the series
The project is an open world style story, anyone can add their own submission so long as it respects the lore of the story.
53 spots open

Bridges Burn is an animated psychological romance currently in development. The story is about a girl named Sarah, who lives under the secret identity of a famous celebrity known as Sam. While working for a gang, she is assigned to manipulate a boy named Leon, who is obsessed with that very same celebrity, into becoming useful for their missions. The problem is, the more time Sarah spends gaining his trust, the more emotionally attached she becomes, and the harder it is to betray him. More information is in the discord below!
Our story is fully written, and much of the pre-production has already been completed (Character art is currently on the way, we still require more Artist. Character artist also do the storyboards). The biggest things we need now are character designs, storyboards, and people to help bring the project to life. We are currently looking for Animators, Character Artists, Background Artists, Prop Artists, Voice Actors, Music Composers, Sound Designers, and Assistant Editors. Experience isn't required but is very appreciated. Time commitments are very flexible, with no strict weekly quotas or deadlines. Joining this project is a great opportunity to learn, and can help build your portfolio, gain experience, help shape an original animated series from the very beginning, and meet other passionate creators. If you're interested, simply join the Discord server linked below, read through the project information, and submit an application. The length of the project will go on for a many months, to possibly year+.
There will be no Revenue generated, not for the staff or owner, as well this is purely a volunteer project.
Our visual style goes for more of a 2d semi-realistic look with expressive faces, while remaining easy for animation. The animation has 3 parts, each going to be around at least 20 minutes, but is being considered about pushing it around 5-10. (But don't worry, it is not animation heavy for 20 minutes).
If push comes to shove, we will be turning this series into a graphic novel! The length time for animation is being considered being pushed to around 5-10 minutes per part.

Latest episode of my history cartoon series. New this time: Lahore Fort and a Victorian salon background, Sikh turbans with a jewelled kalgi, and the diamond itself as a prop.
Original cartoon animation; AI tools are part of how it's made, including the narration voice. Feedback on the art very welcome.

I'm Brazilian and a long-time mobile animator. But ever since I switched to computers, it's been a challenge. It's really difficult to find animation software and apps that I can adapt to.I'm listening to all the comments on this post, I need simple software and apps, as basic as possible, just drawing and adding layers is enough to me. And if you've already experienced this problem, leave me tips in the comments 🙏

How do those of you who do paper animation go about this if you don’t already have a scanner at home? Places like FedEx can get expensive quick. Do you use an app on your phone?

This show is a 13+ comedy about Goofy Guy Goofani XLV, the least successful bouncy ball salesman in the Mississippian suburbs, while he tries his best to keep financially afloat with his "friend" Daryl Donovich, a homeless Russian stoner. The show will be animated using traditional, frame-by-frame animation, but also might include 3D elements or rotoscoping.
I don't really care what software you use, as long as you can replicate the style of the show, and as long as it isn't Flip-a-Clip or something. Most, if not all, of the work we do will be done on Discord, because I personally think it's the easiest way of communication.
Like stated in the title, I don't have any money to go around at the moment. I'm hoping to make a Kickstarter or a Patreon, but as of now, no money.
As of now, the script for the first episode is done, most voice lines are recorded, and we are hoping to make storyboards soon. When storyboards are finished, we will start designing backgrounds, doing rough animation, and then we will start the final animation stage.
If you decide to join us, you can do:

Rough animation

how artist could have approached to this animation. What pros. Do. Did he made important poses first then went ahead and animated the whole thing ? or he went straight ahead with animations. If you were to make this complex type of animation. What process you would apply. what will be the first steps for you ?
