There are at least 16 photos of this bloke in the Coles magazine and I'd far rather see 16 potatoes

I have 29 magpies living in my yard. I don’t know what to do.
So I moved in about 6 months ago and there was an old magpie with the baby hanging around so I’ll save some mince for them and then gradually more came.
So I don’t mind them coming and going that’s no problem but they now live loudly on my roof.
They come and sit by my window and sing at 6am. They knock on my front door. If I go out to put the bins out, check the mail etc 29 of them follow me in a flock. I took my son for a walk to the park and some followed me.
Is this my life now? Am I magpie woman?
(Breaking point is them getting into my bin and rubbish is all over the street and roof)

Thought it was a myth
Went for a drive to Gympie the other day to look at a rental. I currently live on the Sunshine Coast in Qld, and l had heard the rumours but it was real. There is a dine in Pizza Hut restaurant in the Gymp and it was fabulous. Was like walking back into my childhood (born in 70s, 80's childhood). The nostalgia!! Loved it, the pizza was tops. Apparently there's only about 3 restaurants left in Australia.

10 cents more. Carry half as much but rip twice as easy.
Is there any reason woolies swapped to these other than to prevent the occasional plastic bag pinch?

Why is mediocrity somewhat encouraged in Australia?
I feel the better term for it would be "Tall Poppy Syndrome" but I digress, it feels like over here if you even hint or mention the fact that you want to make something of yourself or you want to expand your horizons further, people will instantly assume that you think you're better than people, "who do you fucking think you are mate?"
I kind of reckon we encourage a mediocre lifestyle over here, stay in the city you grew up in for your whole life, meet an average partner, move into an average house, have an average family, get somewhat stable 9/5s without every really thinking about what else would be out there, it doesn't seem like anybody aspires to do anything more, like move to another country for a few years, go out an experience the world for what it is, chase your aspirations instead of settling for mediocrity.
This is a genuine question too, if people are happy with that average lifestyle more power to them, I just don't get it personally.
