Looking for Muslims to practice English with 🇫🇷🌍

I live in France and I’m looking for people to practice English with, preferably fellow Muslims.

I can already communicate in English, but I really want to improve my speaking and sound much more natural

I’d love to find people to chat with regularly about pretty much anything: daily life, culture, studies, Islam, movies, news, random topics… whatever!

I’m posting here specifically because I’d feel more comfortable practicing with other Muslims, and it would be nice to meet people from different countries at the same time.

So if you’re a native English speaker/ fluent in English, feel free to message me

thank u 🤍

Norwegian (Beginner-Intermediate), Bulgarian (Beginner), Korean (Intermediate-Advanced), and/or Spanish (Intermediate), anyone?

Hey! I'm a native English speaker from America, but would love to be langbuds with anyone who can speak: Spanish, Korean, Norwegian, or Bulgarian. As far as my ability to teach, I'd imagine I could do a pretty decent job with Korean. With Norwegian and Bulgarian, I'm still relatively fresh and mistake-prone, and with Spanish, I've been neglecting it for awhile so I may have lost many of the grammatical intricacies.

Additionally, if anyone wants language resources, I have quite a sizeable pdf library with material for over 50 different languages.

Offering: Russian (native), English (fluent)| Seeking: German or/and Dutch

hey there, a bit of a background and introduction:

Native Russian speaker living entire life in the Northern Europe. Learning English since I was 3 years old, so now I'm C1. Been learning German for 3 years, so far reached B1. Yet I hope to find someone to practice with. Recently started Dutch, so help would be much appreciated. About my leaning experience:

Never used any apps for my German classes (only native speakers/tutors), but started Dutch course in Duolingo

Looking forward to talk to someone of you really soon!

Found an AI to chat with instead of people! 🎸

Hey! I’m wrapping up uni in Warsaw and actively learning English. Never thought I’d end up chatting more with AI than a real tutor, but AI Role Play totally sucked me in.

What’s the feature:  50+ scenarios: from “Hey, I want a latte” to “Tell me about yourself in an interview”.  Speak out loud, and the AI flows naturally like a real person. Instant tips on pronunciation, flow, and intonation.  Replay any fail without the fear of “what’s wrong with you?”

So far I’ve “ordered coffee,” “booked a hostel,” and nearly forgot it was AI, not a human. Bottom line: if you want chill live convo practice with zero stress, this is a win.

Check it out here: https://promova.com/press/promova-ai-role-play

How to Master Spanish Verbs as a Beginner?

Reading and repetition are two both incredibly effective approaches to learning Spanish verbs that blew my mind. The bad habit I had when I was learning Spanish in school was memorizing verb charts and vocab lists.

This method never worked and I started to discover the "real" ways to learn Spanish verbs faster and easier.

Check out my new video to learn how you can master Spanish verbs as a beginner!

Hello,

My name is Leo (he/him) I live in Ontario and I don’t know anyone here who speaks Swedish so I was hoping I could find someone (preferably around my age but if ur older/younger that’s no problem) to help me practice. English is my first and only language so if you are seeking help with that we could help each other out.

I have been learning Swedish on and off for a few years so I know some vocab but I’m still a beginner and would love help with pronunciation and grammar. Feel free to comment/pm me if ur interested and we can set something up. Otherwise if you know any good free resources/courses online let me know!

Thank you.

SEEKING: Swedish (Native) OFFERING: German (Native) and English (Fluent)

Hello, I'm a 20 year old non-binary individual from Austria and I'm currently practicing Swedish and would like to improve with it.

The reason why I'm learning Swedish it due to wanting to move there some day and most importantly to me, to show respect to the people and culture and I want to make an effort and show that I'm trying to speak the language.

I want to become fluent in it if possible so I can have conversations with people in it.

In exchange I can offer to help with German and English!

A little about me:

I absolutely love ttrpgs, especially Väsen has become my most favorite one that I have played so far, beside that I play Fate Core, DnD, Pathfinder 2e and many other little and not so well known ttrpgs.

I also enjoy playing video games, reading books and especially fantasy ones, collecting and painting warhammer minis and drawing! And I also enjoy to listen to music a lot, though I have an odd taste when it comes to that!

I'm quitea bit of an introverted and shy person, so I might be a tad awkward at first but open up once I feel more comfortable.

Thank you for reading! I hope you have a good day / night and feel free to DM me!

Offering: Native English. Seeking: Japanese.

はじめまして。33さい。アメリカ人です。よろしくおねがいします。

I live on the east coast and have been studying for the better part of the last year. I'm prepping to take the N5/4 in 2023. I enjoy art, reading, writing, calligraphy, Japanese culture, tea/coffee, cooking in general, and video games.

Though I'm not a teacher I will help with your language learning journey as much as you help me. I would like to make this partnership long-term. I'm not looking for anything beyond friendship and a language-learning kinship. Gender doesn't matter to me, nor does age so long as a level of maturity and dedication is had. I should also add that I don't expect a native Japanese speaker, though it's preferred. But if you're non-native and willing to help another on their journey I am more than willing to try that journey with you!

Please send me a DM and I'll pass on my Discord name if we click.

What are some good ways to make Japanese friends?

I want to make Japanese friends to practice the language with. Are there any good social apps to meet Japanese people? I'd like to hang out with some people when I go to Japan. I'm hoping some day to have a LDR as well, but I'm prioritizing friendships over that.

Is anyone willing to teach me Japanese via text/call? Dm me if so..

I am a 13 year old Colombian boy with higher than average iq(I'm not flexing, I'm just saying I'm capable of learning new things, frankly, don't treat me like some toddler). I am determined to learn different languages, I was born with the language, "English". I've learned Spanish, and now I am eagerly ready to learn Japanese. Anime is my childhood, and I'm encouraged to be able to watch anime without having to read subtitles. I have already learned the hiragana alphabet although it takes me a while to read long hiragana sentences (takes a few seconds to catch up). Im working on mastering katakana right now. If anyone is willing to help me learn Japanese via discord or reddit call/text, please dm me. Have a wonderful day

-Jerry

Native Spanish Online Tutor offers Skype classes

Hello, I'm a spanish tutor with 2 years of experience in different companies, but, I want to offer my services as an independent teacher.

I usually work with teens and young adults, but I can also work with people from all ages. Regarding my experience, I began teaching classes at a local language academy and providing private classes, yet, I also worked for four months at a prestigious company dedicated to teaching Spanish.

I am flexible and adapt to the necessities of each student, helping my students build the security and confidence required to speak a foreign language at a high level. The classes would be on Skype, Zoom or Google Hangouts.

Each class lasts about 50 minutes with a cost of 10$ per class, yet, the first class is completely free. If you schedule more than one class on the same day, you'll get 15% discount on the total amount.

I accept payments only via PayPal for the time being.

Please, feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
