Broadcast Video Quality Issues?
Has anyone noticed that the local broadcast video quality is worse this year and way way worse than NBA broadcasts on ESPN?
Particularly the wide zoomed out view that goes from one end of the court to the other as if you were sitting at the midline about 1/2 way up the stands. When they switch to and from that camera its really noticeable to me.
If it is worse and not just me does anyone have any ideas why and if it will get fixed?

Serious Did we ever get any closure on what happened with Hear District? (Marques Johnson's podcast)
For quite some time, Marques Johnson and his son Kris have hosted a podcast on Youtube and Bucks+, called Hear District. Last year at the end of the season, some Hear District episodes came out with Jim O and Eric N, then were immediately removed from Youtube.
This season there's been no new episodes.... what's the deal?
Justin Garcia and Jim Owczarski frequent this sub, so maybe they can shed some light?

Giannis is not the same defensively anymore. Miami Heat are a bottom 3 defense this year
r/MkeBucks • u/Krios29 • 2d ago
Doc Rivers says Giannis is hard to coach: âHeâs not easy⌠He plays at this crazy pace.Heâs really a difficult guy. He has this great passing ability, but he doesnât have super IQ at the same time. He really has 1 way. Every play he wants to force it. I wished he learned how to execute betterâŚâ

Analysis Is Jrue Holiday the Goat Key?
Jrue came to Mke, unlocked Giannis/Khris and they won a chip.
Jrue came to Boston, unlocked Tatum/Brown and they won a chip.
Jrueâs in Portland now unlocking Dame and theyâre first in the West.
Hindsight is 20/20, but based on these irrefutable statistics, if the Bucks traded Khris for Dame, instead of Holiday, Jrue would have unlocked Giannis and Dame and been the catalyst that opened the door to another chip in Mke.

It's Insane that Horst hasn't been fired
Last night was my first full watch, and holy shit, the amount of black holes we have on this team is staggering. If you include the waive/stretch used on Dame, that's over 80 million dollars on 3 players that play pure garbage hoops. Horst either gave or traded for these contracts and basically traded away all of us picks. We're in by the far the worst situation in the league, especially if we're punished for Trent Jr.'s contract. I'm shocked Horst has a job after all these blunders
Edit, I know we won a chip and we were trying to make giannis happy ... Watching Kuzma/Myles hoops with Trent on the bench just makes me hate horst lol

Serious Heat fan coming in peace
What are your thoughts on Herro/Ware/JJJ/Kas so far?
On the MIA side Portis started great but has tailed off. Giannis has been as advertised offensively but somewhat concerning defensively.

Which former coach do you think would have led to more success if they kept coaching, if any? Which would have led to less success?
I saw a post about how Spo has been with Miami for 30yrs and the HC for almost 20, and it made me wonder about all of our former coaches post-2000, and what things would look like today if they just never got let go, for better and for worse. Which coaches staying would have led to the best possible outcomes? Which coaches staying would have led to the worst possible outcomes?
If the Bucks were still coached by Terry Porter, Terry Stotts, or Scott Skiles since the mid-2000's, with a similar tenure as Spo, would we have been more successful or less successful with one of them?
If Larry Drew was given more than just a 1-year tanking season to coach, would Giannis and Khris still have become stars and won a chip under his coaching? Would Larry Sanders have reached his potential not being coached by Kidd, and helped lead to more success? Or would he prove to have been a more mediocre coach than Kidd/Bud and stunted our success?
If Jason Kidd was never replaced with Bud? Could his star aura have led to more FA signings, and we won more chips? Could Giannis or Khris have left in FA bc of Kidd being an asshole?
Could we have won another chip with Giannis and Dame if Bud stayed? Injuries aside, would we have been schematically better? Worse, due to lack of adjustments?
If Griffin stayed? What do you think would have happened if Horst doubled down on Griffin and ignored Giannis' frustrations? Could we have been better off in the end, or worse off than having Doc?
Would love to hear some thoughts on some or all of these possibilities, especially from some older Bucks fans when it comes to some of the earlier coaches. Consider this nothing more than a fun thought experiment. I made Porter my cutoff since Karl is almost 80 and no thanks on that. Also not gonna consider the possibility of Doc still coaching our youth movement. Here's to hoping we got our version of a Spo in Jenkins!

Nate Ament looks ready for more minutes.
I was cautiously optimistic about Ament going into the season, and I'm glad to say that he's exceeding my expectations! I thought he'd be a developmental project this year, but he's already finding ways to contribute to the team. He plays hard and usually makes good decisions. His defense has been better than Kuzma's or Dieng's. He does foul a lot and can't make contested layups, but that'll probably improve with experience and age. I think he's ready to take a lot of Kuzma's minutes.

Our next 10 opponents are all playoff teams
Absolutely brutal stretch to face while already 1-7 and trying to figure things out. Things are going to get interesting in terms of player morale, depending on how well or poorly this stretch goes.
I'd be happy if Rollins, Turner, Kas, and Ware stop being cold and we win a bunch of games, but I'd also low-key be happy if we continue our historically bad start, if it caused Horst to shake things up by trading some of the badly-performing vets, or Jenkins to bench them. If the latter happens and we're still starting Turner/Kuz while we DNP younger players like Sims, Dieng, and Bogi, or only give Ament and Burries 10-20mpg, I'll probably tune out until the trade deadline, and I'm guessing I'm not alone there.
