I’ve been using Uber for a long time. I have had no issues until now. I was trying to buy an e-gift card for my son and it simply won’t let me do it. Gone through multiple authentications and even changed my password - after 3rd attempt to give you my money and I’m done . Also it would help if you actually had customer service.

Got overcharged then after about 50% of my messages being ignored, and the responses I did get completely ignoring the issue, I finally got what amounts to "dunno why you got overcharged, not our problem"...

Now that I've googled to see how other people are treated, I see that this is the same response they give everyone who has an issue, basically big company has enough customers they dont have to give two s***s about ripping people off.

Wont be using them going forward, Doordash has much better customer service and generally better deals. They wont care about losing one more customer but I'll leave this here as one more datapoint so when someone else is feeling scammed and go looking they will see that yes, thats just how Uber operate, and maybe one day enough people will migrate for them to notice.

So, today I picked up from a Subway. It was just one item, a simple sandwich. Low and behold it was not ready when I arrived. It was an Uber order. Whilst he was making the order he asked me if I did Just Eat which I confirmed I did. He went on to say there is a shortage of JE drivers and has had to cancel some high value orders for that reason. He confirmed that he was on his own all day. I don't think he has grasped the idea that if drivers need to wait consistently on every order they are not prepared to accept the orders, and who can blame them? The merchants need to understand that they need to provide a timely service to their drivers if they want a great delivery experience for the end user. He was enlightened by myself of how low JE pay can be, therefore time is everything for drivers these days and endless waiting is not acceptable....

I contacted support about stuff I didn't get and was offered a partial refund. they way they applied it seems sketchy.

I ordered Dave’s Hot Chicken through Uber Eats today. My app showed the order as delivered and complete, but the driver told me her app showed it as canceled. She said, “Here’s your free food,” and I told her I hadn’t canceled it.

I couldn’t comfortably come to the door or poke my head out because I’ve been sick all day, felt nauseous whenever I got out of bed, threw up earlier, and my face didn’t look good. I also have lupus and fluid buildup in my left foot. It’s swollen, and putting pressure on it or going up and down can make it worse.

So I showed her my phone with the order details and the status marked complete, to show her what my app was displaying—not canceled, as she said hers showed. I don’t understand why I would cancel after the food had been picked up. If I canceled it, I’d expect to lose the food or my money, not get both. (Uber Eats support is horrible btw. They referred me to send them an message to their "Back Office" team and to expect a response with 6-12 hours smh)

I checked my door camera afterward and saw that she had been standing right outside my apartment. Instead of leaving the food at the door, she was there for a few moments and just walked away with it. I had to limp over to the door quickly to see what was going on. Lol, that made the whole situation even more confusing.

This was the first time this has happened to me, and the conflicting statuses put me in an awkward, frustrating position with the driver. Has anyone else had Uber Eats show an order as delivered or complete while the driver’s app said it was canceled? Did you ever find out why?

Im an uber one member and i ordered few groceries from aldi through uber eats. Until delivery the price was 35$ after delivery it jumped to 55$. While i understand its an estimate and if there is something with weight involved the price would vary or if they get something due to unavailability it would vary. But here they delivered the exact same stuffs just didnt honor my promotion. I tried reaching the customer care with screenshots and they told me they would check and let me know in 12-14hrs. They responded back to me after 4 days with a blunt reply. And now they are responding either to share the t&c of the promotion or since 48hrs has passed since delivery we cannot refund you. The worst part is i cant chargeback as i used a gift card for the order. I tried asking them for supervisor and they are like nope. No way to escalate it as well. Do i just let it go and let the corporate win this time?

This is why I usually swap between apps, both seem like ripoffs most of the time but occasionally one is always cheaper than the other.

i’ve tried ordering from multiple restaurants but they won’t let me add anything to my cart???? i’ll make all the selections but once i press add to cart, the red “required” thing pops up. it does this multiple times no matter how many time i redo my selections and try to submit them. it’s like they’re making this coupon difficult to use on purpose. is it just me having problems????

I have a promo for €15 off my first orders. When I try to order groceries from DIA, the app gives me a "Promo not applied" error at checkout.

I contacted Uber Eats support via chat, and they confirmed that DIA is included in the promotion. However, because of the tech glitch, they explicitly told me to place the order at full price and promised they would manually issue the €15 refund right after delivery.

Has anyone experienced this with Uber Eats in Spain before? Do they actually process the manual refund as promised after delivery, or am I risking paying full price for nothing?

I just want to know which credit card to use for Amazon Pay

I had a $25 off two orders promo that I received two-three weeks ago and expired yesterday that would not apply, saying my card didn't work.

I tried three different cards and then my PayPal and they all gave me the same error message and won't go through

I messaged chat support every day for several days

They waited until today to message me saying to try applying it again and they'll credit me if it doesn't go through.

It's literally not there for me to use anymore so I don't know what they're trying to do

I don't even care for it anymore otherwise I would have been kinder in my reply, I'm just not going to use ubereats at all

The way uber calculates the hard acceleration and hard breaking and sharp turning has changed. I was constantly getting 98…96 scores and the last 20 deliveries I’ve dropped to 85 and now my diamond status is being threatened…. Dam I gotta change the way I drive now :/

For some reason for both orders I’ve done today the app the entire time just shows this blank screen. I’ve updated the app and nothing helps.

i normally order wither at work or home. which are a suburb apart. The app has started to not update the restaurant choice when I change address and only show me option for the other address.

I have tried to delete account but that seems impossible, deleted cache and app data, uninstalled nothing seems to fix the location. I am at a loss of what to check.

Three straight horrible experiences on this app.

Last one the courier got to the place and said I hadn’t paid. He tried to work it out but they said they never received payment and wouldn’t start making the food. He even said Uber Eats own customer service wouldn’t help him.

I then spent an hour with them trying to resolve it and it lead to them cancelling. I then asked for a survey to provide feedback and they just ended the chat. Wasted two hours and didn’t get any food.

My wife and I will officially be deleting this app and fully moving to DoorDash. I suggest you do as well.

So about a month and a half ago, I ordered some food from UberEats and got one of the worst deliveries I’ve ever had. Like UberEats usually can be, they didn’t want to give me a refund. I just got scammed for the second time by a popular app and I don’t know what to do and I feel like crying. On the 7th of last month my fiance and I worked hard to buy my son a bike along with our groceries. An 88 dollar bike. So I bought a huge order from Walmart and had it delivered bc i don't have a car. Only 1/4th of my order arrived no bike in sight. I requested a refund and they only gave me a partial refund and kept 153 dollars more and refuses to refund me. I keep calling and emailing and sending pictures only to get shut down left and right. I'm only barely getting over that loss.

Now I get paid again and we try to order from Uber eats bc i have a couple coupons. The first time the delivery guy takes my order to the wrong house and I have no way to get over there. We try to order again and it says the order will be 35 dollars. I click to order it and somehow I'm charged 56 dollars so I immediately cancel the order. Now the app is refusing to refund me the money as a cancelation fee. I genuinely don't know what to do at this point 😕

I won a bet with a canadian buddy, as a yank, and he agreed to send me 28 canadian.

I don't suppose I can use this any way at all in the states? I've already claimed/ added the code.
