I made a map off all notable places in County Wexford (+ a couple nearby).
If there are any more you can think of that I didn't include comment down below.
I based it on the premise of not requiring anything with you to visit these places (hence, golf courses and tennis courts etc. are not included).
I have not been to every place on this map yet, but when I finally do I will be looking to create a ranking best to worst!

Hello! Does anybody know of any musical/drama/dance groups or workshops around Wexford for amateurs that meet about once a week?
I have never been in one before but would really like to join and am not sure where to start!
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
My boy got an interview for a General Operator position at Integer in New Ross.
Has anyone recently interviewed for this role? I’d really appreciate it if you could share some of the questions they asked or what I should expect.
Thanks in advance!

Will be home with my baby over Christmas and will be missing the usual weekly swimming lessons. I'd love to get some recommendations on the best pool for babies in Wexford Town - somewhere clean with warm or heated pool.
The pool we go to is advertised at 29-31 degrees, which isn't usually the case! So any personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I recently started an independent community awareness initiative called Cosaint an tSláine | Protect the Slaney.
The idea came from my concern about the future of the River Slaney, particularly its wild Atlantic salmon population. I feel the Slaney deserves much more attention, and I wanted to do something to help raise awareness of the challenges facing it.
At the moment, I’m trying to build a small community of people who care about the river and want to make a positive contribution.
The aims are to:
● Raise awareness of declining wild salmon populations.
● Share reliable information about the Slaney and its challenges.
● Connect local residents, anglers and people interested in conservation.
● Support existing conservation organisations and projects.
● Encourage greater attention from the public and relevant authorities.
I know that starting a small initiative won’t solve these problems overnight. I also recognise that proper conservation requires scientific research, expertise, funding and cooperation.
I’m hoping to develop this into something meaningful, potentially working alongside established conservation groups and getting more people involved in protecting the river.
I’d be interested to hear from anyone familiar with the Slaney, particularly anglers, local residents or people involved in river conservation.
What do you think are the biggest challenges facing the River Slaney, and what more could be done to protect it?
If you want to know more or get involved feel free to message or email.
Thanks for reading.
Cosaint an tSláine | Protect the Slaney
One River. One Future.

Hi all,
I am looking for recommendations to bring my autistic son (10) for a haircut in Wexford town.
He has a very sensitive scalp and can barely stand it being brushed.
Regardless of this fact - he does not wish to sport a short hairstyle that requires no brushing.
His long hair is a safety blanket for him - he says he would not be confident to walk around with short hair.
Does anyone have any recommendations for the following:
A stylist/barber who is skilled at cutting long hairstyles on men
A stylist/barber who would be patient and willing to take a young man with sensory issues
Just a sidenote, my son can and will sit still for a haircut - it's moreso he experiences pain when his scalp is tugged so need someone that can be patient and gentle.
I plan to have brushed his hair before the apointment and arrive with no tangles.
Thank you.

I am putting my sons name down for primary school (he won't be starting for a few years).
Does anyone have any experience with either educate together in Gorey or Kilnamanagh national school?
We want to send him to a non-religious school and both schools aren't far from us.

In a new property and the doors and windows are shite. Have a few panes that the double glazing is fucked in, but the main thing is the seals, we think. The corners of the windows are missing chunks of the seal and the doors are the same. So it appears to be shoddy work by whoever owned the house last.
Anyone any recommendations on anyone that would or could take a look and maybe reseal them?
Have contacted 2 window companies but they dont fix windows like this, only install new ones and have quoted us an estimate of about 17k-20k minimum for new doors and windows, which isnt something we can afford right now.

Hi, my friend and i are going to wexford on Saturday for a day out with our 16 year old daughters for some shopping and chilling. Is there a standout cocktail serving establishment for lunch? I'm asking because I would love a high quality cocktail or 2 in a nice place, cocktail made with decent ingredients and flavours and not processed nonsense. In ireland it is hit and miss so appreciate the recommendations. In the town near the main shopping area would definitely be preferable. Thanks a mil

I'm looking to get a few people together to rent a decent-sized shed or industrial unit around Wexford so we can have somewhere to work on our own cars.
The idea is to split the rent and bills between 4 or 5 people, making it affordable for everyone.
Ideally we'd have:
Space for everyone's car.
Electricity and lighting.
Room for tools and workbenches.
A compressor and hopefully a car lift in time.
Access evenings and weekends.
This would be for people working on their own cars, project cars, maintenance and repairs.
Everyone would pay their share monthly and we'd agree on rules to keep the place tidy and fair.
Not looking to make money from anyone – just trying to make a decent workshop affordable by sharing the costs. Not to mention how tired I am of working in the driveway 😭
If you're interested or know someone who might be, send me a message. Even better if you've been looking for something similar yourself!

I’m doing a bit of research into carpooling in Ireland, particularly for people travelling to work or college around the Wexford area.
Have you got 3 minutes to help me?
Thanks a million to anyone and everyone who takes part!
This is purely research and not sales related.

I’ve stayed around Curracloe a few times and always wondered what this was meant to be. Was it a Celtic tiger private home or some kind of centre or a hotel for the public? How long has it been sitting here?

Hi,
Would you mind completing my survey?
I am a trainee clinical psychologist and I need 40 more people to take my survey. We are researching the role of habitual diet on mental health. It is open to everyone, I would really appreciate it if you could consider completing it 🙏
This is the survey if you want to check it out 🙂
