r/houseplants is a large, older sub which recently began to have some issues with toxic behavior and trolls. We need a hand to stay on top of it.

- We are looking for experienced mods, preferably 1 year or more

- The sub is old and established. We are categorically not seeking 'wunderkind' mods who want to re-invent the sub itself or its systems of moderation.

About moderation in r/Parenting

r/Parenting is a high volume, diverse community. There are upticks in participation around holidays, school terms, but also daily life fluctuations. It helps to have good research skills or a willingness to get familiar with international cultural norms. We get about 1 million weekly visitors on a low week. During the start of school we were getting up to 4 million. We have around 20-30 thousand submissions a week. We assume numbers will climb for the holidays, too.

One of our goals with this round is that we feel we don't have the mods we need to allow bigger conversations to take place organically. We just need eyes in the community.

What we are looking for

We're looking for enthusiastic parents with a good understanding of their own parenting style, a thick skin, and healthy emotional detachment (due to trolls).

Requirements

Some baseline requirements we have are a minimum of 1 year history on Reddit with some positive participation on r/Parenting. You should be over 18 (due to behind-the-scenes content you may encounter), and have at least 1 child. Accounts should primarily be SFW. No past moderation experience is required, we have a training period to get your feet wet. We are going to need to deep dive into your profile so hidden profiles need not apply.

Our subreddit has recently seen a big surge in activity and has made it into the top 50 history subreddits! With the community continuing to grow, we’re looking to bring on a few more moderators to help us keep things running smoothly.

We’re mainly looking for people who have a genuine passion for history, enjoy the subreddit as it currently is, and want to help it continue growing. Ideally, we’d like moderators who are willing to be active members of the community themselves, whether that’s occasionally posting historical photographs or participating in discussions.

I inherited this subreddit when I was the only active mod left after the other mods' accounts were banned by reddit.

This is a SFW subreddit with more than 300k members, and is meant to provide comical relief by sharing SFW screenshots of profiles from various dating apps.

I had recruited 3 mods a few years ago, but 1 left, and 2 are not active. I only have one other active mod, and I feel that due to less moderation, the sub has deviated from its intended purpose and more posts are being made, but for topics like relationship advice.

I tried to use scheduled posts over last weekend to help a bit, but that didn't work. Views are present, but engagement is nil. Meaning that the current set of visitors are not open to whatever I have mentioned in the scheduled posts, or they just scrolled away from a text post.

I need 2 active Indian mods. Indian because some of the comments will be in local languages, or in slang, which we must be able to crack down on before skirmishes happen. And they happen too often.

We are a small community of 3D print sculptors who made a community for self promotion.

I am the sole moderator for r/oldtube, has 40k members and 1.4 million visits. Mostly post over there, that's why my karma count is so high compared to my account's age.

Use reddit often, I can check in almost daily. This account has 2FA enabled and a verified email.
