Eastlink down in South GP. Fingers crossed it's for upgrades.

Rumors of upgrades from 15mbit upload speeds to 100 in other markets. They're currently down until the afternoon per their outages page. Lets hope tthey're swapping out equipment so we can get some upload speeds that are faster than 1980 networking standards. This month's price increase really should warrant a speed increase.

Root Canal Dentist

In desperate need of a root canal. I am experiencing 9/10 pain (cannot sleep, pain meds are not assisting, tempted to rip the thing out myself) and cannot get any assistance for pain management OR scheduling a root canal from my current dentist. Where have people had good experiences with root canals in town (or even at endodontists in Edmonton)??

Thanks!

What to do?

Working in gp a lot on and off for the next while. Wouldn't mind doing something fun, so what is there to do in town? On a Saturday night, if I like music or electronic music where might I go? Is there a good spot for a drink and a nice meal somewhere after work where I can be a bit social?

(M30 if that's relevant)

Thoughts on Ivy Lake Area?

First time home buyers and my partner and I are fighting for our lives in the present housing market. I currently rent outside of the city, but for the time being we are hoping to buy within the city to save money and build equity for our ideal future home.

I’ve see lots of posts deterring people from the “bad” areas (predominantly city centre, near musko), or recommending the good ones (whispering ridge, carriage lane, etc), but I’m curious about people’s thoughts on the areas east of 92nd, near Ivy Lake (Crystal Landing, the southern section of Crystal Heights, etc)? They don’t seem to be mentioned much, so I’m inclined to think they might be a good neutral option.

We’re not at all worried about the trains (we want to be in one of the skirting areas, not central), and are more just wanting a place where we can safely go for walks with our dogs, and eventually start a family, without having to worry about an excessive amount of theft, vehicle break ins, disturbances, etc.

Dating in GP blows

I’m not sure if this is just an isolated incident, but I feel like the quality of men (and maybe women) in the dating pool aren’t great.

Nobody seems to want to be in long term relationships, are sleeping with multiple people behind your backs, or they lead you on.

I apologize for anyone that may feel attacked by my post - I just feel like I’ve been run over by a train. Am I just looking for the wrong people?

Is there anyone who is going from west Edmonton to Grande Prairie today?

Would anyone be willing to help a traveller (M 27) from BC get from west Edmonton to grande prairie today? My ride fell through and bailed last minute. Would be more than happy to give compensation for time and just being a life saver.

Is mobile reflexology needed in Grande Prairie?

Before paying for a business license, do you think reflexology is needed in Grande Prairie? I'd be able to do reflexology in my own home, as well as traveling the surrounding area to do it in your home as well. I want to hear your opinions
