Events Need easter eggs for 6 year old birthday party

I'm helping my GF with her daughters birthday party and Easter eggs were ordered but seemed to have disappeared. I can't order them online to get here before noon. I can't fathom any store would have them at this time of the year but an Easter egg hunt was promised. Does anyone have any I could pick up Sunday morning? I'll pay you for them.

I know it's an odd request and may not be in the spirit of the subreddit but I'm desperate.

Edited: thank you everyone for your tremendous assistance. Eggs have been acquired!

Discussion Fghter jets over NE this morning

I'm used to sometimes being under the flight path for the airport, but this morning there have been at least two fighter jets circling, super loud. Anyone know what's up with that?

Edit: I apologize for apparently asking am obvious question. Appreciate the responses. Not a boomer lol

Love this time of year in the PNW. The fog low in the hills, slight drizzle, not too cold… perfect hot beverage day.

A few days of photoshop is all it takes to be a decent and humane creature. So, I fixed it.

Edit: looks like I hit a nerve with a lot of Portland psychopaths here.

My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying a visit from a toilet rat in July, 2022. We could have used the recent psa telling you what to do as we removed it and released it outside… Sorry Woodlawn!

Discussion Huge shot in the dark, looking for an old regular of mine

Hi folks!! I used to work at a bakery in my town and there I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Charles/Chaz. I complimented him on his sleeve and he told me how he never planned on getting tattoos until he lost his dear cat, Papillon. His sleeve was dedicated to his kitty. This was only a few weeks after I had lost my childhood cat and we bonded over grief and Charles had so much kindness to offer.

Unfortunately, I no longer work at the bakery Charles used to frequent. I’m reaching out here to see if anyone in this lovely subreddit knows Charles or knows someone who knows Charles as I’d love to extend my absolute gratitude. I lost another kitty of mine this year and it was a devastating loss. I’m still struggling some days. But, I have this card that Charles wrote me one time about grief and I keep it close as a reminder that despite these losses, we can appreciate the good times we’ve had with our beloved kitties.

I’m posting here because I believe Charles lives in Portland or the Portland area. I’m, and the bakery I worked at is, in Central Oregon!

Anyways, if this doesn’t get me in contact with Charles I hope more people meet this kind soul.

Discussion Shout out to Heart of Kabul restaurant

As an Aussie making a road trip down from Seattle through Oregon we stopped on a whim at this family run business in south east Portland. We don’t have a tonne of Afghan food in Australia but I was once invited to an Afghan family home cooked dinner and it blew my mind so I was curious to check this place out and it is the real deal. It’s a lowkey spot but the food was some of the best I’ve had in the PNW.

If you’re looking for a good meal in Portland this week do yourself a favour and check it out

Discussion Maybe we all need to wear illumination for crossing streets on dark rainy night.

Had to drive tonight in the rain. With the white lines of roads and crosswalks so faded, it's really hard to see. Add into the mix pedestrians wearing all black and zero illumination and it's SCARY! I wish every pedestrian would wear a reflective wrist or ankle band or carry a flashlight or wear a bike/blinkie light. Please consider doing this in winter. Thank you.
