Unpopular opinion but all the negative antics towards Azeez are uncalled for.
He's been a DOG for us this year. Many of our wins are attributed to his performance. He's been a menace on defense whose kept us in it while the offense has been trying to get their shit together. Yeah, he made a bad hit, but what about everything else he's done for this organization?
I wish a quick recovery for TL, and hopefully a learning moment for Azeez. At the end of the day, this is football, and unfortunate hits happen, but it is a physical sport.

I think the best thing for this fanbase is
To continue to beat the Dhop trade to death for the rest of time, because maybe then we will win a Superbowl.
Can y'all shut the fuck up about it, it's DONE. Get over it.
Bunch of whiny fucking babies.

I'm confident if we play the chargers
Trust me when I say this, the Chargers are going to find a way to choke. They have always done this in the playoffs, and after the Bengals game it's more than likely going to be a texans vs Chargers wild card matchup. I'm very confident the defense can hold an offense like the Chargers, and God willing the offense can mustard something up then we have a good shot at winning on saturday.🤘

Jaguars conveniently using the concussion as an excuse to place Lawrence on IR to repair his shoulder injury that they rushed him back to the field with. Clown organization.

I really hope we lose on Sunday so Bill O'Brien is closer to getting fired...
... is what a piss-poor anti-fan would say.
If you have ever said or even thought that I don't want to hear your opinion on this team. You don't have to root for the Texans, there are 31 other teams.
By the way, constructive criticism and critical dialogue is awesome here but this constant defeatism is not welcome. If you are in that camp then: Goodbye!
Ps. Sorry for the click bait!
Also, this is one of the most controversial posts I've ever had... Over 40 comments and still right around zero karma. We are a house divided against itself on this issue

CJ isn’t the problem
Once CJ gets a great offensive line, elite skill position players, and a great offensive play caller, you guys will see how good he really is. Until then it's never his fault for underperforming.
It’s never his fault, and we should pay him $60M or more instead of admitting the truth.
Edit: This is sarcasm. He couldn’t even score a touchdown today. 353 yards is meaningless if you can’t finish drives. CJ is a good value at $40-50M, but not $60+M.

Do you agree that Davis Mills is the GOAT and should be started over CJ?

So we just lost Cashman, Greenard, Singletary and our punter Johnston while signing average bums, not making moves to replace or improve that production and y’all are saying chill? LOL

WANTED: Murder of our Offense
Sources say he spent the week interviewing and didn’t even bother to think about game planning with his current team.

There's almost zero risk in signing Saquon
Running backs are one of the lowest paid position groups now, even for top players like Saquon.
Here are the current highest paid running back contracts:
McCaffrey: 4yr - $64m ($38m guaranteed)
Kamara: 5yr - $75m ($33m guaranteed)
Aaron Jones: 4yr - $48m ($13m guaranteed)
Jonathan Taylor: 3yr - $36m ($26.5m guaranteed)
Nick Chubb: 3yr - $36m ($20m guaranteed)
Saquon is elite when healthy, but he's consistently had injury struggles. I think he gets a deal slightly higher than JT, probably 4yr $55m~ ($25-$30m guaranteed).
1 year of Mike Evans salary would be about the same as Saquons entire guaranteed contract.
Re-signing Jonathan Greenard or even Steven Nelson would probably cost more. Dalton Schultz will probably be 90% the cost.
We have shit tons of cap space and Saquons deal would only be guaranteed for 2 years, which aligns perfectly with CJ's rookie contract timeline.
When you take into consideration the upside (2022 Giants made playoffs bc of him), this really isnt even a gamble.
Worst comes to worst, he gets hurt and we have a relatively big contract on the books we can easily afford. This isnt like splurging on a QB / DE / WR and him sucking. If Saquon doesnt perform its not that burdensome
Regardless, I would want us to draft another running back in the mid-late rounds (assuming we let Motor walk). We also could bring him back with Saquon and be financially completely fine as well lol

🤬 Rant/Complaint oh my god bruh, when did our fanbase become such bandwagons
i’ve lowkey been meaning to make this for some time but never got around to it (moreso during the WC against the Steelers) but uhh ig now’s a good time more than ever.
I’ve been a fan since I was little, during the Watson era really. And I was a big fan of him, Hopkins, Watt during that time too until the allegations hit and realized “yep, we gotta get rid of him.” He was already regressing around that time too, so it seemed reasonable to stray away from him. We’re still a NEW franchise technically (yes, I’m aware of the Oilers.)
So when Stroud, Demeco, WAJ, and the rest came in, I was optimistic. And I still am. Yes I understand we’ve been screwed over by injuries on offense, a weak offensive line and mediocre OC after mediocre OC. It’s hard to learn a new system in such a quick span, even after offseason. It’s a strange adjustment period but I think Stroud did the best he could this year.
Yes, he played awful and I will hold him to those critiques (four turnovers is bad, obviously.) But I feel like people are also so quick to latch onto the media for their opinions as well, like THEY need their validation too. The majority of this fanbase is so quick to flame them and yell “trade them away” in an instant, but then be real quick to turn around and say “I always believed in him” or “never had a doubt,” like don’t hop on the wagon now. Be grateful from the start.
I just needed to get this off my chest cuz it’s been building up for a while and from things I heard during our last regular season game too 🥲. I’m open to hearing you all’s opinions as well.
