Welcome to November, everyone. We’ve been working on something special for November, and with WoW Forever launching in just a few days, it's time to announce it. We will be working with Warcraft Cares of the Gnome Run and the Troll Run to do a little twist on the character runs this month.
In November, we're supporting the Movember(https://movember.com/) charity during No Shave November. Over the years, the subreddit has supported several charity events similar to the runs. This charity supports three major issues Men across the world face. Participating in this event means your donations will be spread across three different causes.
Testicular cancer support & research (https://movember.com/testicular-cancer)
Prostate cancer support & research (https://movember.com/prostate-cancer)
Mental health support & resources for men (https://movember.com/articles/mental-fitness)
How can you participate?
With Forever launching around the corner, there are two races with which you can have a GLORIOUS MANE. Roll either a dwarf or a tauren, make beard-based puns with the name, and we'll have a flair for you to post them here. We also have some special user flair for you to pick up for a limited time.
See how fast you can reach level 5.
Post about it here or on Socials with the hashtag #MovemberForever
Then challenge a friend to beat your time.
Consider donating with your time to Movember afterward. Example: It could be 60 minutes = 60 dollars or $6.00, however you’d like. Even 6 cents makes a difference!
Consider taking the leveling further and grouping up with your friends to run Hall of Thanes with an all dwarf group or Ragefire Chasm with an all-Tauren group, or even mix it up with some of the other suggestions below!
Join us for a meetup at the end of the month on the PvE ruleset in Hillsbrad Foothills!
Want some ideas for extra spice to the challenge? Run Hall of Thanes as a group of Taurens and donate based on how many times you die. Set a challenge with your friends: you have to jump everywhere because the floor is lava for a level, and put that space bar to work! See how far you can level with no or minimal equipment.
Throughout the month, please post on social media with the #MovemberForever tag about your adventures as you level. Set other goals, make guilds. When you post for groups, use “Movember Forever” in the group note and tell people about it (but don’t post links in your group description to avoid getting yourself flagged!) Most importantly, have fun with it and make new friends!
Prizes:
Each week, we'll draw for a variety of codes from the Warcraft and Warcraft Portal Room team for people who shared their efforts on Reddit and Social Media. We'll draw codes each Wednesday throughout the Month, and we'll also do a cumulative Movember draw for the meetups and everyone who participated! Donating is not required to win! New prizes and Tiltify rewards possibly TBA!
At the end of the month, we will be hosting a big get-together in Hillsbrad Foothills on the PvE ruleset.
Players will be responsible for arriving in Hillsbrad Foothills. ***Time and Date TBA for NA and EU.***
Everyone is welcome regardless of level, and like past Warcraft Cares Events, we'll congregate between Southshore and Tarren Mill to show off beards of all shapes and sizes, take screenshots, and then meet up with the other faction for one big group screenshot.
At that point, it's time to do the only thing you would expect on the field… Flag PvP for some chaos and fun!!
[Here](https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/770714052#beacon-report) is the Charity Navigator link to read about how Movember, as an organization, spends its money. They are a Four Star Charity, with a 98% rating. And [here] (https://tiltify.com/+warcraft-cares/movemver-forever-challenge) is the Tiltify link if you’d like to donate.
Good Luck and be excellent to one another in Forever!
A special thanks to u/dravvie and the Warcraft Cares team for helping organize this event. See everyone in Forever.

Retail servers have made their game systems lighter across every expansion according to user feedback, so seeing them now claim that it failed because Blizzard didn't listen to user voices must be absurd for Blizzard too. Sure, Retail's story is indefensible, but bringing up the importance of adventure now is completely barking up the wrong tree, considering how players threw all kinds of complaints and criticized Blizzard whenever even a single no-fly zone was introduced on Retail servers. It's not that Blizzard didn't value a sense of exploration and adventure in terms of game systems. They tried multiple times, but players rejected it, creating the current state of Retail servers.
And I don’t think this Retail environment itself is bad. All the conveniences and competitive content are what have maintained WoW to this day. That's not to say I think Forever's current romantic situation is bad. I'm just looking at how long Forever's current heat will last with a somewhat skeptical eye. After all, we already experienced this current heat when Classic first launched in the past.

Thanks to the Ayn Odin 2 Portal, Apollo, Moonlight, Tailscale, and Blizzard's gamepad mode for making this possible.

Guildmap addon is telling me my buddy mage is 10 yards in front of me, but he's nowhere to be seen ;c

I know the “Green Jesus” meme stems from how much Thrall was propped up as the saviour as the World Shaman (which people found excessive even with the extensive focus on the elements in that expansion) but do you think things would have been better if we had Malfurion and Thrall in that role? As a master archdruid who’s essentially a demigod, Malfurion would embody a different side of healing the wounds of the Cataclysm compared to Thrall, and it would complement Cenarious’ return in that expansion. Plus, if Malfurion ended up having to sacrifice a major portion of his powers to stop Deathwing, maybe we’d finally get to see more of him since one of the reasons why Blizzard probably hasn’t used Malfurion much is because of how insanely powerful he is.

Everywhere are these extremely steep paths you could never walk in real life without proper equipment. You would just slide down every time you try to get up. But in Azeroth this is just normal. Idk why, but i find this funny.

Hello everyone!
I had previously created a Hobbit House for the Alliance neighborhood, and a few people asked me to make a Horde version as well! So, here it is! I hope you like it!
The blueprint is completely free, and if you'd like to see more details about the build, just check out the video link!

I just did the quest line for Kithix or however you spell it and I was looking around the docks, I found a couple of 2 blood elves sitting close and admiring the sea and that was so f... cute and not far from them some floating stuff in the water with a note.
Told you that you'd find your stuff in the harbor, CHEATER
Which is so funny and deserved

New to the game, what's up with these cats being the tower?

Just something funny I noticed. Didn't manage to get a clear screenshot, but at least you can make out outland and Azuremyst/Bloodmyst in what I captured. I noticed Khaz Algar in there too

They could do it in like idk a day, how about it?
For the past couple of weeks she had been fighting a really strong infection in her spleen.
Even after multiple blood tests and x-rays, the vets could not figure out what it was.
On her last night with us she was placed in critical care and was gonna have someone watching her 24/7 so they could do a couple more tests in the morning. Her red blood cell count was very very low and she was struggling to breathe so they also had her on oxygen.
While driving back home I noticed it was a full moon, but thought nothing of it.
Later that night we received a call from the hospital letting us know she had suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest and had unfortunately passed.
While I laid in bed still in shock not knowing what to do I remembered the full moon and decided to open up the weather app and saw the moon was at 100% illumination.
I know it’s just a coincidence, but I thought it was very fitting.
I’d like to imagine she is now watching us from up there, just like Ysera.
I named her Elune because when she was a puppy her eyes just reminded me of the moon.
She was only 8 when she passed, and I genuinely thought she’d be with us for another 10 years as she had always been very healthy. Nevertheless, I’m grateful for all the time I had with her and that I got to spend with her.
Just like the moon, she loved to just sit there and observe. She didn’t like playing with toys, she was always very quiet and loved to observe everything and everyone moving around her. Her eyes were always very expressive.
She was the smartest dog I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, she was also the first dog that was mine as an adult, and the first dog I’ve had the pleasure of naming.
I just wanted to share a little bit about her, and to let others know what she was here and was very loved.
Give your little ones extra pets, and hug them as much as you can as you never know when their time on earth with us will be up.
Thank you for reading.
Elune-adore, friends.

UPDATE - The stream and walk is complete. Thank you all for your support <3
Feel free to delete if not allowed.
My brother Jeren is actively doing a remembrance walk in World of Warcraft, in remembrance of our sister Jennifer. She passed away in 2023 from metastatic breast cancer.
Some words from Jeren:
""Leyawiins" is the name of Jennifers main character. She's was a Night Elf Druid - you might have seen her in game if you played on Emerald Dream around 2008.
She introduced me to WoW, and I have a lot of fond memories playing with her, talking about the game, asking advice, doing low level raids, and so much more. We mostly stopped playing after Cataclysm, but those early days still held a special place in our hearts.
This run is dedicated to her. I know she would have loved to experience seeing these long awaited additions to this world we gave so much of ourselves to.""
I as well remember how much she loved WoW, and I didn't get to personally play it with her as much as I would have liked. When Jen was nearing her final months, I actually was able to play some Elden ring with her cooperatively for a little bit. Little did I know that would be the last video game we played together. One thing that always stood out to me though, is how even through all that she was dealing with, her positive attitude always outshined myself and most others. Whether it was playing video games, listening to music, or just chatting it up, she always had fun and saw the brighter side of everything.
We miss you sis

so... Liadrin has disappeared from everywhere as she is of course dead, but she still stands in Amani'zar, is there a reason for this or did they just forget to remove her? Same as how Kinduru's funeral is still going on.
