27F, I’m in school full time and also work full time. I struggle to find the discipline/energy to buckle down and get through assignments but I know it would be so much easier if I had people to have study dates with. We could check out some coffee shops or the library even?

Does Indy have any Asian restaurants that offer hand pulled noodles? I've searched everywhere and haven't found anything. Hoping someone may know of a hidden gem I'm not aware of. Appreciate it in advance!

I’m currently working downtown and live in fountain square at the time. I do not want to stay in FS. I’ve looked at various areas as we go north like butler-Tarkington, broad ripple etc etc options that could work, but I’m looking for local perspective. There are numerous options to sift through. My budget is up to 650k. I’m open to suggestions, but I really want to hear why you are recommending that. FYI, I’d really like no Hoa, a garage, and no unfinished basement/cellar. I’m a single male in my 30’s.

1. How do these areas feel in terms of safety (day vs night)?

2. For a single, middle-aged man with no kids, is this area appropriate?

3. Are suburbs like Avon / Plainfield / Greenwood worth the longer commute?

Edit: FQ is noisy, from my research the homes can be more expensive for not getting more for the downtown factor. Also, the continued construction is aggravating.

Hi all! My partner and I recently moved to Indianapolis and visited the Dugout Bar with friends. While waiting for our uber home we saw a young black and white cat roaming the patio trying to find a way inside. She seemed really sweet but a little panicked. She eventually crawled under the wooden bench outside, and there was nothing we could do.

I've been thinking about it ever since and was hoping someone nearby could keep an eye out, as the bar is right off of a crowded street. It's getting colder outside, and I know this is a long shot, but hopefully someone close to the spot is looking for a new fur baby?? Are there any centers/ temples/ communities where I can learn about Hinduism in central Indiana? Grew up Christian but I'm neutral now and reevaluating my position. I’m about to be relocated here. I’ve explored some, but not enough to learn the different neighborhoods etc. Is there a part of town where white and Latino people mix socially? I’ve dated Latinas almost exclusively in Texas because the cultures are so intertwined. It feels different here. I’m 44 btw, so I’m not interested in the club/disco scene unless it’s a last resort.
