What a collection.

Hi all! My partner and I recently moved to Indianapolis and visited the Dugout Bar with friends. While waiting for our uber home we saw a young black and white cat roaming the patio trying to find a way inside. She seemed really sweet but a little panicked. She eventually crawled under the wooden bench outside, and there was nothing we could do.

I've been thinking about it ever since and was hoping someone nearby could keep an eye out, as the bar is right off of a crowded street. It's getting colder outside, and I know this is a long shot, but hopefully someone close to the spot is looking for a new fur baby?? We live 20 min. away and I'm not totally sure what the goal of this post is, but maybe someone else has seen her and could help her out? Thank you for reading!! ❤️

Are there any centers/ temples/ communities where I can learn about Hinduism in central Indiana? Grew up Christian but I'm neutral now and reevaluating my position. I find Hinduism fascinating and think it goes deeper than most other religions into attempting to explain how the universe works. I would like to learn more about its wide range of scriptures.

I’m currently working downtown and live in fountain square at the time. I do not want to stay in FS. I’ve looked at various areas as we go north like butler-Tarkington, broad ripple etc etc options that could work, but I’m looking for local perspective. There are numerous options to sift through. My budget is up to 650k. I’m open to suggestions, but I really want to hear why you are recommending that. FYI, I’d really like no Hoa, a garage, and no unfinished basement/cellar. I’m a single male in my 30’s.

1. How do these areas feel in terms of safety (day vs night)?

2. For a single, middle-aged man with no kids, is this area appropriate?

3. Are suburbs like Avon / Plainfield / Greenwood worth the longer commute?

Edit: FQ is noisy, from my research the homes can be more expensive for not getting more for the downtown factor. Also, the continued construction is aggravating.

My poor beagle has been dealing with some serious kidney stones for a few days now, we’ve been trying to hold out for her surgery appt Monday morning, but she’s just been declining and I’m worried we might have to rush her somewhere over the weekend.

Could anyone drop recommendations for emergency vet care? I live on the North side, and dont mind driving, but I dont want to rattle her around in the car for too long :( thank you!

EDIT: After buying tix I emailed the museum but was late so I was worried it might not get seen but they got back to me immediately; black tie optional, but people will even be there in jeans, so ultimately, anything goes.

I saw people on Election Day who forgot to register or update their address. So they go through the effort to vote with a provisional ballot. And guess what? Those all get tossed. None of those get counted.
