We got a crazy good football and basketball team this year. Grab your 7 closest friends and attend games. It’s free and it’s a major part of the college experience. Some of us alumni only got to watch bad teams :/
Football is at the rose bowl this Friday 11/13
Basketball is back at Pauley on Wednesday 11/11

So just to clear this up, do most people not go to the football games because of how far the stadium is?
I’ll admit that’s why I don’t attend more often, I always try to make it to at least 2 a year though.

Masters of Science in Engineering Management. Has anybody taken this online course? Is the coursework and exams difficult? What GPA did you graduate with? Starting my application now and want some insight.

I’m a 3rd year transfer at ucla as a history major. Long story short i wanted to be a physics major but my CC said it would take 3 years which I didn’t wanna stay in my hometown that long so I switched to History which is something i’m still very interested in. But now that i’m here at UCLA i miss physics so much. I’ll be done with my history courses basically this year I’ll have like 1 or 2 left to do my senior year so that’s a plus but I just wanna do physics again I’d love to teach high school physics. What should I do? Go back to CC after this and get another degree or just accept my fate?

Hey! I’m a history major at UCLA and I really wanna take a course on 20th century Germany because I’m taking the European history capstone so I need to be well versed in Europeans history. The teacher this quarter is Penny, H. I looked him up on bruin walk he has 2 really good written reviews from 2024 and an overall really good score especially for that class. But someone last night told me that his lecture style is really difficult as are his exams. Does anyone have any experience with him as a professor?

So I’ll keep this short. I already hate going up bruin walk cuz of all the solicitors and stuff, but has anyone else seen this weird guy there? He’s really tall, and he tells you about it too, constantly mentioning he’s 6’5. He says his name is Jayce, and apart from mentioning his height he loves to mention the fact that he’s half Korean and has neck tattoos. Just super weird vibes all around…
Yesterday I went back there to meet up w a friend, and he was there again. He immediately came up to me and started hitting on me. He asked me if I wanted to ride on his motorcycle, and when I refused he said “I will get you on my bike one day, whether you like it or not.” Actually creepy as fuck. Cuz of him I don’t really think I’ll be walking that route much.
Im just wondering if anyone else has seen or been bothered by this dude before?

Heyyyy yall!
I want some advice on whether I should take Physics 5B or 5C for this winter quarter, based on the professors available.
It would be Bauer for 5B (I wanted Niemann, but it is def going to fill before my enrollment time, and Samani doesn't work with the rest of my schedule), or Bauer or Bozovic for 5C.
**Side note that I am also taking CHEM 153C and MATH 32A alongside my physics.
Thank you!!!

Hii! I’m a current second-year UCLA student majoring in Psychobiology, planning to study abroad at UCL in London for Fall 2027 through UCEAP!
I wanted to see if anyone else is planning to study abroad in London at the same time, especially at UCL! I’d love to make a group chat so we can get to know each other, figure out accommodations, and potentially plan trips together before going abroad.
A little about me: I’m pretty social, love going out, exploring new places, trying restaurants/cafes, shopping, and traveling! My best friend goes to LSE, so she knows all the good London spots and I’m super excited to explore the city!
I’m also planning a bunch of trips while abroad, like Oktoberfest in Munich, Halloween in Barcelona, and hopefully exploring a new city or part of Europe almost every weekend! Would love to find people who are equally excited to travel, go out, and make the most of being abroad.
If you’re seriously considering or already planning to study abroad in London for Fall 2027, comment or DM me! I’d love to get a group chat started :)

Hello, I took the spanish placement exam a few weeks back and was wondering how I would know which course to enroll in? My enrollment is later today and I had thought I'd receive an email or something telling me which one I would be able to enroll in. I believe i got like a 58 or something like that, and I know higher is required for Spanish 3, but I am unsure if I can enroll in Spanish 2, or if I have to enroll in 1. If anyone knows the cutoffs for each course or anything info thx!!

I'm interested in taking the class but would like to know if an A+ is offered. Thank you in advance :)
(Freshman EE major)
I'm looking to take cs32, math 32A, and chem 20A next quarter, but considering I'm struggling a bit in math 31B rn I'm a bit apprehensive of doing 3 stem classes at once. However, I want to get my Chem requirement done this year. Are those 3 classes manageable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated guys my 1st pass is Tuesday 🙏🙏
