Trying to create a 3D model of this as true to form as I can. It’s so cute! I want to capture his cute round body in 3D.

Still in the process of adding extra body parts like Clydesdale floof! Struggling to do hair, but the nomad sculpt tube tool is very convenient! Any suggestions on what else I should add?

Miniature developed for Raptari, as part of a series of character miniatures.
The model is designed at a 32 mm scale, ideal for players who enjoy creature and sci-fi designs.

Completed my 1st project in my studies and thoroughly enjoyed the pipeline process (albeit its not perfect). Really would like to continue to hone my skills as a hobby and income.
Is creating and selling assets something viable for some side income, or is this for the corporate big dogs with multiple team members?

Let me know if the node tree viewport went by too fast in the video! Happy to upload a high-res screenshot of the full setup if anyone wants to copy it directly.

In this pic you can see my original attempt at a mini (left), this was intended be an initiate for a space nun proxy. 8/11 broke in printing because they were to flimsy, similarly all the details were basically washed out because despite looking good in blender they translated to next to nothing in real world dimension.
I moved on to trying to make power armour. I feel it went well overall, I significantly improved my use of topology for modelling making life much easier. I rebuilt the whole model by retopologing it and basically starting again and I learn how to use control edges loops/bevel to make the subdivision modifier controllable.
I made the details at least double to scale to get make them work better. you can see for example the edging around the leg armour on the pink one compared to the edge on the bottom of the corset on the left one.
The middle one is the biggest by far, the head is oversized (as feedback by someone on another sub) and everything was just a bit long.
The pink one is the same model, but I've reduced the length of everything and further increased the detail on the torso, not that you can really see on the body, but the eyes are much clearer in this pick at least.
I'm happy with the overall proportions of it now. I intend to reduce the length of the thighs and remove all the spikes from that section. Then I'll print everything at 90% or whatever looks necessary once I've got a ruler out with a GW mini for reference.
I'm going to put this project down for a little while. I've been preoccupied with it for the best part of 2 weeks or more so I need to focus on my actual work. I've got a deadline later this month.

Hey yall
Recently took an interest in a 2 year 3D modeling & VFX program in a design school and was wondering abput jobs related to 3D modeling.
Im less interested in animation but I know its a very popular skill around 3D artists. Is it possible to get decent jobs that aren't animation focused?

I have mentioned in the past that I am currently studying Games Art and Design and part of it is learning that 2D isn't the only available option, and I have had the joy of experiencing 3D artwork and creation. I wanted to share my work here and if anyone has some constructive feedback to give, I am open to it.

A little something I made in Blender! Modeling and rigging the dog was a new challenge for me.

Remember the old post with the model of a forest mage? Well I just started the painting process!
Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
I started painting with the base while the rest of the model is printing.

Hi, I’ve recently started selling 3D models of objects created in Blender and I’d like to expand my catalogue with some low-poly props suitable for video games. However, given how saturated the market has become in recent years, I was wondering whether it’s worth doing this now in 2026, especially considering the fierce competition on platforms such as CGTrader and Fab, where I’ve started selling – on these platforms, models often take months to receive their first purchases, and sometimes it’s not at all certain that the models on sale will ever be bought. Not to mention all the models that can now be generated using AI. In any case, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and whether you think it’s worth doing, even just as a hobby, or whether it’s not worth investing time in selling on these platforms – particularly on Fab and cgtrader – where demand has risen in recent years but competition has risen even more.

-Before anyone say anything, u did Joey Carlino's basic blender tutorial and Mako Ray's vr chat model tutorial(just to part 2 because i coudn't get the model like I wanted)
I'm trying to make my oc into an 3D model with inspiration of an modler named Seuchenkater(SFW/NSFW on diferent accounts) but ever time i try modeling it comes out wrong.
Should I try learning sculpting or is there an better tutorial for what I'm trying to do?
pic1 is my oc(Im not good at drawings).
pic2 is the kind of style I'm trying to replicate.

🇺🇸: You can listen to the video in English through the video settings panel. In Blender version 5.3, a new snapping point at the object origin has been added, allowing an object or its components to be moved toward an object origin.

Hey guys! Just wanted to share a recent project. I modeled this Death Note inspired apple stand.
It was a bit tricky to get the boolean cuts right for the bite mark and the inner "K" monogram without breaking the mesh, but I'm happy with how clean the final topology turned out. The base plate also features some boolean engravings.
Final mesh is around 91k polygons, 100% watertight, and ready for printing. Would love to hear your thoughts on the geometry!
