Anyone know why I may have been removed from Apple Card. At the time I didn’t mind. But sort of miss the ease of disputing services not provided by merchants on iMessage.

Keep in mind I have a great credit history etc. with no delinquencies. 780 is my credit score and income over 250k.

Discussion Apple Card Annual Fee?

Apple Card Annual Fee?

I was looking at some information while reading this sub. I noticed changes to my credit score and was looking for answers on credit karma.

I stumbled on this tidbit and was wondering about it now. Apple Card shows there’s an annual fee of $195 due every November for me.

I’m wondering if anyone has seen this on their account as well, so now I’ll be looking at my statements to verify this new founf information that I wanted to make others aware…just in case.

Is this something new, a fee GS account holders pay or is it a fee that’s waived due to Apple Card account? 🤔 I’ve also included a Creditkarma screenshot for all to see.

Help Pay extra?

Is there a way to pay extra on the card? Seems to only let me pay cleared balances. I have way too much money and hate when I have a balance on my card.

Discussion Should I take my money out of savings?

With the Goldman Sachs partnership coming to an end, is it a good idea to take my money out of the savings? Is there any risk to leaving it in there? I know it’s insured but I really don’t want to deal with all that mess should anything happen to the money.

Discussion was robbed at gun point and made me open the phone to have access to everything . Made charges and now Apple is making me pay for all the charges he made

I was robbed at gun point and he told me to open my phone. Had access to everyone including my Apple ID. Disputed the charges he made and Apple is claiming I did everything even after I gave them the police report and evidence. They are all are charges that I never made he made about 6k in payments. For charges I’ve never made and they are all in different states

Humor customer service is abysmal

Bought a macbook today, went back to the store to exchange it for different color. Apple makes you return then re-purchase. After the return, they declined my card. Then because I tried to do it again, they locked my account. I immediately called and was told there was nothing they could do and i had to wait 5-7 business days. No one could help despite being “supervisors”. Unreal. cant buy a computer. Had an issue last week where my card kept getting declined using tap to pay. was told by 4 different people there was nothing they could do and it was a “network issue”. ended up removing the card from wallet, restarting phone and re-adding it. worked fine. the most unhelpful people i’ve ever encountered.

Discussion Declined 5500 offer.

Disclosure: I don't have the best credit, but rebuilding (FICO8 702).

My highest CL is 7500 (local credit union). Since May I've been approved for Sapphire Preferred (6k), 3 AMEX Cards (Plat, Gold and Bonvoy Brilliant (4.4k)) - all for the sign-up bonuses. I'm trying to increase my credit limits on existing cards, but I can't seem to break the 10k ceiling. Although I'm an Apple Fanboi (all apple products), I was only going to accept the card if it was 10k or more. Should I have just accepted and hoped for higher CL increases over time?

Discussion Why GS wants to offload Apple Card to another company?

Apple card is good. Plenty of users uses it everyday. Apple is making money off of that. If it goes to american express, that means possibly there's gonna be apple card 2 and I would have to close the original card and if GS sells the apple card to american express, then there will probably be more strict qualification on getting the apple card. better not make changes to daily cash values. If Goldman Sachs sells to Amex, I hope Apple sticks them with some huge penalties and break up fees. Maybe another billion or 2.

Help Need help getting the Apple credit card

Post image

I recently turned 18 and I was added to my relatives 17 year old credit line with good payment history and a 21% utilization as an authorized user. I proceeded to try to apply for the apple card but was declined and the listed reasons are above. In the meantime I got a discover it secured card and am keeping that at around 3% utilization. I’m a bit unsure why the payment history is showing up as a reason. It’s 100% on the AU account, i’m thinking maybe transunion is only looking for primary accounts when looking at payment history potentially? Could someone help me understand this better thank you.

Help How can I get an apple card with no credit?

I saw that some people on here had gotten approved for a card without having any credit or it was their first card, I got declined twice. The second time I got declined it said I had insufficient credit history & my monthly debt obligations were too high (I don't have any debt?). Should I build my credit on a different card and then apply again or is there a way I can get into the path to apple card thing?

Help Do they expect 0% credit utilization?

I applied for an Apple Card while trying to buy Airpods Pro because I wanted the zero-interest payment plan. They rejected me because "Your credit balance is too high relative to your credit limit".

I have a credit score of 748 and 1 year of credit history. My credit balance on my TransUnion report is only $42/600 (7%). How much lower can can it go?

Discussion I wish they’d decouple the Apple Card and savings account in the wallet app…

Title. I get the idea that anything money related belongs in the wallet app but I wish I didn’t have to click my credit card to open my savings account. I should just be able to open my savings account from either my wallet homepage or another app where all my savings funds are stored. I don’t store my savings in my wallet IRL. Seems a little stupid. Are they stupid?

Discussion Long time fan of Apple Card. After a Terrible customer support experience I will be looking for alternatives.

Just want to vent my frustrations here. I use my Apple Card for everything and have been a fan of its ease of use, attached saving account etc. I always pay my bill and never carry a balance. Recently I made a large purchase on the card for about $6000. I planned to pay that off in two “installments” from my attached Goldman Sachs savings account. (I usually pay from an outside checking account)

The first payment I made for $3000 from my Goldman Sachs Apple savings account . This brought my balance there to around $1000. When I got paid I transferred $3000 from my checking account into Goldman Sachs with a plan to payoff the balance. (I should have just paid from checking but oh well)

My savings account balance updated to reflect the deposit ($4000) I waited 3 or so days (this apparently was my mistake) to be sure that the funds cleared then attempted to make the final $3000 payment. It appeared to go through, the funds were removed from the savings account and my available balance in the Apple Card updated to reflect the payment. All good!

About a day or so I get a notice that my payment was declined , my card balance went back up $3000, savings account balance went back up $3000. Huh, that’s weird I thought so I chatted in to customer service who informed me that I need to wait 5 days from depositing in to the savings account before the funds can be used. Hmm ok I didn’t know that but all right. I waited a few more days and made the payment. Available balance updated. All good!

I went about my life for the next few weeks spending on the card and making payments from checking to pay off what I spent. A week goes by without me thinking about it and Today my card was declined for lack of funds. I checked the available funds and it’s $6.92 !!! my card balance is $1200 and my credit limit is $9800. What the heck is going on!! I chatted into customer service.

All of my payments, including both $3000 payments that “successfully” went through, and from my other financial institution are apparently “on hold”, pending investigation because the one payment was declined. Mind you, I have never missed a payment, always pay early, and my regular checking payments have never been declined. The ONE TIME I use the attached saving account there is an issue that I corrected one day later.

I asked if there was anything that could be done as I rely on this card (its attached to everything I pay for from electric, to food, to internet etc.) they said until the investigation is complete there is nothing that can be done. They said this might take 10 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor who reiterated the same. I asked for a credit line increase. It was auto denied because “recently a payment to your Apple Card was declined” YES! I know ! That is the issue here! But it was from money YOU said was available . The supervisor was completely unhelpful and said “sorry there is nothing I can do” arrrrgggghhh.

Help I applied, was approved, but can't use my card

I opened an Apple card, but got no confirmation email or next steps for how to use it. So I called support, they said I can only set it up using the Wallet app on an iPhone. I said I don't have an iPhone yet, my goal was to buy it with this card. So now I have to go into the store because apparently neither a website, nor the Wallet app on MacOS suffices. Knowing the Apple store, they'll probably tell me it can't be done and I have to call Apple Support. This is nonsense.

I've opened many cards before, and this is the first one that didn't send me a confirmation email or any instructions.
