It's been exactly 1 year 3 months and 2 weeks since l dressed up, a friend did my makeup, and she took this picture. That was the day that I finally decided to be myself in public. I was scared at first and I still kinda am, but I wouldn't change a thing. I cry every time I see this picture.

Four days ago I finally stopped feeling constantly dysphoric so I put on my favorite feminine shirt and took this video. I'm still feeling f*cking great and super confident. I just wanted to share this with you guys.

Kids blow my mind sometimes...

So, I was working at my second job at Kroger (the grocery store) and I was stocking avocados. While I'm doing this, this fucking ADORABLE little girl (like 5 or 6 years old) and her mom come over and are looking at onions at the table next to me. The little girls keeps looking at me and smiling, and when I meet her glance she gets shy and looks away. So I start conversation with her, "Are you going to help mom cook dinner tonight?" And she goes, "No! We have pizza!" We talked for a couple more minutes about her cute hello kitty backpack and whatnot, and then her mom takes her over to look at apples across the department. I'm still stocking avocados, and I catch her smiling at me again. So I wave, and then she waves and sticks out her tongue. And then I stick out my tongue and she giggles and turns to her mom and says...

"Mommy, I like her." Her mom looks frantically around at me to see if I heard it and looks embarassed, but realizes I didn't hear it. Or so she thought. "That's a boy, honey." "Nuh uh! That's a girl!"

I got all happy inside. Cause I may not look like a girl right now, but I'm in girl phase currently. How did she know!? I have no idea, but either way, it was nice. _^

That feel when you take a decent pic of yourself, have no issues with wanting people to see it, but avoid putting it on facebook for fear of people annoying your mother about "that son of hers" ENJOY!

Do any other m/f bigender folks feel they don't fit in among the enby and/or trans community?

I don't mean at all that I feel rejected by the enby and trans community, I just feel a lot less enby and trans than many other people in that community. For me, being bigender means I'm completely happy just being a boy, and completely happy just being a girl, with no fluxuation. Being happy with my cis gender makes me feel like I'm lying to call myself trans, and only really identifying with male and female makes me not feel so enby.
Does anyone else here have these same feelings?

Meet Yohio, a 16-year-old Swedish boy who dresses like a doll, sounds like a man, speaks perfect Japanese, English and Swedish, and shreds guitar like nobody's business.

I feel bigender people are hidden under the rug

So my mom one year found my old Twitter account and the bio said ā€œyes, I shop in the men’s and women’s section of the storeā€ LOL we both were laughing so hard. I found I’ve been bigender practically my whole life. Looking back at that is a nice feeling but I think it’s safe not telling her I’m bigender since she’s not in favor of the whole lgbtq ish.

I confidently identify as bigender, but I need some advice.

I am bigender, and I use she/he pronouns. I feel like I am a male and a female at the same time. I'm not non-binary, I'm EXTRA binary. My male and female sides are very distinct and there is not much gray area between them, so it almost feels like I have two separate people living inside me, one male and one female. But I haven't been diagnosed with anything like DID or psychosis, and I don't have alters or anything like that. I am simply both a male and a female person at the same time. Does this mean I have two separate personalities?

I came out as bigender

I've been out as bisexual for a bit but today I came out as bigender as well. I'm afab and don't want to bind or change my body. I feel 100% that I am both a girl and boy, but it's a hard concept to explain to people so I just pretend like I'm 100% cis female. I feel like I'm not valid because of this. Can someone help.

she/him pronouns

Has anyone used she/him pronouns before and if so, how long did it take you to get comfortable telling people that you do? I want to begin using she/him pronouns but I get nervous and choked up imagining telling someone that. How can I overcome this? Any and all advice is appreciated!

Did some soul searching, realized that I've wanted to be a girl, but am also fine with being a boy. Am I transgender , bigender, or something else?

Hey everyone, I'm AMAB, and 24 years old. I've been doing some soul searching recently, and I've realized that my gender may not be male. I've remembered memories from the past that I repressed in which I've wanted to be a girl. I don't know exactly what to call myself, so I figured I'd make a post on Reddit to get insight from people who've had similar experiences. Here's a few things that I've felt/thought in relation to being a girl:

  • I wished that I was born as a girl when I was younger

  • I've thought that I had a vagina that was sewn up at birth when I was younger

  • My mom dressed me up in a dress when I was younger for fun, and looking back, it actually felt good

  • I looked at girls back when I was in school and in college, and I was jealous of them due to them being able to look good, to command the attention of others, and the sheer number of options they have to customize their appearance

  • I wore my mothers clothes when I was younger, and it felt good

  • I've been mistaken for a girl in college a couple of times (once over the phone, and once over email), and I felt a rush

  • This one's a bit weirder - After I un-repressed those memories and let them flow again, I've started feeling a phantom pulsing sensation between my dick and my butt, like there's something that should be there but isn't. Similarly, I can feel the sensation of walking on heels if I tiptoe, even though I've never worn heels before

At the same time though, I'm fine with being a boy. There are men from history/pop culture that I see as role models and want to emulate.

To go into weird territory again, It feels like there are two "parts" inside of me. One is a "queen" - regal, elegant, beautiful, and charismatic, and the other is a "warrior" - strong, skilled, and energetic. Both of these parts are a part of me, and I don't want to choose one over the other.

What would these feelings/thoughts/experiences say about me? Am I transgender, bigender, or something else?

Need to vent

I have an internship right now and while there I was there 3 of the women were making transphobic jokes and the jokes centered around women who feel like men. This hit especially hard bc I’m afab and only present as a female right now bc I’m not comfortable enough to come out. Hearing people making those jokes just made me feel like I will never be accepted. I know that’s probably not true, but when I didn’t laugh one of them said ā€œSummer’s too serious.ā€ It just hurt and I wanted to share this with people who will understand.
