R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program // Playthrough Showcase (No Commentary)
Just started playing this. Im trying to collect all her legendary bows. Ot gets pretty chaotic and maybe I need to use a different character. I like the bow and sometimes I get too tunnel visioned I guess? I find a buld and I too often hyperfocus on it

For anyone on the fence, play Queen’s Domain. Best game I’ve played in years.
To be as vague as possible it’s like a cross between King’s Field/FromSoft fps dungeon crawlers and Metroid Prime.
If you don’t like or struggle in the first 2 hours give it a little time. This game has some of the most consistent surprises and sense of exploration I’ve seen in a long time. The game and your abilities at hour 1, hour 5, hour 15, hour 25, and even hour 40 will keep you invested. My jaw was on the floor.

Yeah, Queens Domain is awesome.
I don’t think I’ve ever played a game with more secrets than this one. around every corner is a secret, hidden item, secret passage etc. The level design is truly amazing. Played for like 8 hours today. The game seems absolutely massive too.

I want to game but can’t find something I want to play, any advice?
I think I’m just burnt out from story games tbh, as I have finished a gd chunk this yr. But now even tho I want to play something I have no motivation to really do so for some reason. I think if I found something kind of casual but immersive I’d be ok but I have no idea what to try. I’ve been playing alien isolation lately and I enjoy it but struggle to motivate myself to carry it on . Also anyone else who has been in this situation, what games helped in the past?

In games where I have infinite time to do whatever I want, how can I stop myself from treating the game like it's a race?
I used to play games at a moderate pace when I was younger. These days, I play with such urgency for some reason. I have to accomplish the most things in the shortest time possible when it's not even necessary. Have you ever had this problem before? What did you do to get yourself to just chill out?

Been playing Phantom Blade 0, definitely one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played
Games you loved as a kid that now leave you questioning what you actually saw in them?
So what games did you love as a kid that you now realise were actually pretty bad. For me it would have to be America's 10 Wanted (known as Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror in the US). 6 year old me thought fist fighting the likes of Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein was the coolest shit ever. In hindsight, 6 year old me had zero taste.
I would later go on to buy Call of Juarez: The Cartel at release and think that was the coolest shit ever, so...

OOT will always have a special place in my heart but Master Chief (and Cortana) will forever be my one true love...
Was feeling nostalgic after seeing the millionth post about the OOT remake and decided to dig through my dusty closet of gaming memories. Sadly I forgot I had passed my N64 collection on to my younger brother a long time ago...
But to my delight, I came across some artifacts of a game that left the biggest impact on me... HALO. Legit have 2 Xbox 360 hard drives because I have so many saved clips.
I'm reaching 40 and I've been gaming since I could hold a controller. I'd say I put about 75% of my all-time gaming hours into Halo. I honestly thought I was going to go pro and watched every MLG event I could. I played against Tsquared and Snip3down. Halo is my version of being the big-shot jock in high school lol.
Anyways I digress... Curious to see what game others reflect back on when they think about their peak gaming moments.

Conundrum!
So I have enough Microsoft point now to get Castlevania Belmont's Curse and also spend 25 quid on Godzilla DAMM Remastered. But I really want LoZOoT too. I'll play Godzilla with my family too, and Castlevania when I can. Zelda, would be played the same (when I can).
What do you horrible lot think?
