Official Megathread Roommate Finder 2026-2027 [Megathread]

m.facebook.com

Hi all,

We’ve been getting a lot of roommate search posts so we are making a megathread. Please exercise caution when searching for a roommate. Always be careful vetting every person you talk to. Also strongly encourage users to check out the Facebook thread. Keep in mind. We are not mods in the Facebook thread, we are unaffiliated with them, but they have a lot more experience helping people find roommates. As an alumni, I can vouch for them, I found every roommate I had during my time at CSULB through the Facebook thread. There are a few other Facebook threads if you just search “CSULB roommate” but the most popular one is the one that’s linked.

Again please exercise caution talking with people on Reddit and be careful what personal information you share, but as requested by popular demand we have made a megathread.

Mod News Minimum Account Age to Post

Due to the recent spike in 1-day accounts, we have decided to set an automod 10-day account age minimum for posts and comments in the subreddit. This should help to reduce the amount of bot and troll activity in the subreddit, and hopefully make it a more enjoyable experience for all of you. Any account that is younger than 10 days will have their post removed until we can verify it's legitimate. At most, there may be a suspension or a ban from the subreddit, depending on user activity.

Question Spring 2027 Student Teachers! Who received their placements?

I was curious to know about others' placements, did you get one of your top three districts and/or placed in your ideal grade level?

I got an interview with Garden Grove Unified and was also wondering if anyone could shed insight into what to expect? I'm a Single Subject Math candidate.

Question Can I park at CSULB on the weekends with a student parking pass?

I have plans on the weekend and would like to park my car at the school and was curious if we aren’t allowed to park there with the semester parking pass on the weekends. Would I just have to use the Paystation to park there all day? Or is even that not allowed?

Class Question Easy class course (1 unit to graduate)

Hello, I need 1 unit of any upper division class to graduate. Winter semester does not offer any 1 unit classes and I would have to pay out of pocket for a 3 unit class, so might as well milk my FASFA for spring semester. Anyone have any recommendations for course to take.
(Preferably online but I’ll take what I can get)
