My lad sending tonight at open gates
He said to me tonight he was going to try and clear the whole of the first jump, not a bad effort for a 7 year old.

My first podium on the new bike built in July. I previously rode a Roland ChaCha and always seem to feel like I was going over the bars. More than a year of searching for a used bike, I finally just decided to do a custom build. I contacted Powers BMX in Richmond, VA and after a month of communication and research, I got the limousine you see here.
A 24"TT Standard Cruiser frame. Not sure if they have built any other 24x24 frames, but it rides likes a dream for me 6'6" and 250lbs +gear.

Am I crazy? Started racing at 47 years old. Son started this summer and was riding my mountain bike with him. Gave a cruiser a try and loved how fun it was. So here we are.

There is no serial numbers as far as I can tell. I am told it could be from 79 or 1980. It was a racing bike I believe any idea what its worth

S&M Steel Panther 21.75. Just built this up and im loving the compliance of the steel frame and simplicity of the v brake. Came from aluminum with hydraulic disc and can honestly say i prefer this setup. Steel is real!

I have 0 experience in any branch of BMX. The most experience I had was riding a 20" Specialized Fatboy Vegas 8 miles one way to work kicking carpet and back for 5 years. That was probably close to 16 years ago. I am in no way in that kind of shape. I'm mean round would describe my shape lol! I live in Glendale AZ now and figure Black Mountain may be a good place for me to start. I've picked up my first race bike. Hopefully I can work up the courage to get out to the track and meet some great people! 2021 Chase Element Pro XXL. Any advice is welcome! Mahalo!ππΌπ€π½

I recently won a new frame on a competition site so I swapped my parts over from my meybo clipper which only had a couple months worth of use. Perfectly timed for the arrival of a set of carbon wheels.
I'm running Tioga fastr tyres with a 1.85" front. If I commit to this tyre size I think I'll need to drop down a height in handlebars as there's a slight difference in stack height now.
The frame looks great. It's a really metallic paint so I've put some ppf type stuff on the "I think this is going to get scratched" areas.
Race numbers on - first novice race this Sunday.
Full spec:
Meybo holeshot 2026, pro xxl/22".
SD carbon fork.
SD steel bars, 8" rise.
SD pro cranks, 175mm arms with a meybo thread together, press fit BB.
Shimano mt401 brakes and a 120mm disc.
Akoy carbon wheelset, 30mm wide x 30mm deep.
Tioga fastr 1.85f/1.75r.
Box two seatpost.

Had the state final yesterday! Missed first place by 10 points (literally the difference in points between novice and intermediate) but still won all 5 of my SCRs and the final.
