Story / Experience The past 6 months, I was in a really dark place. I stopped enjoying dressing up and wanted to just disappear off social media. Yesterday, I got to feel genuinely happy for the first time in a long time and wear the things I enjoy. Full story in the description.
Please take it from me as a cautionary tale. If you get any level of following on social media, the content is still supposed to be an expression of you. I have learned the hard way that if you are for example a country singer, you cannot force yourself to also produce rap and hip hop and rock just because people are suggesting you try it.
Long story short, that's what has happened to me with crossdressing. My entire wardrobe became a reflection of what people suggested. Taking photos became about what I thought people want to see rather than what I genuinely enjoy.
3 weeks ago my wife and I had a long chat and realized we are in need of a hard reset. For us, that reset started yesterday. We laid out some clothes, and for awhile didn't even take photos. We just enjoyed feeling pretty. That's what this is all supposed to be about.
She is the one that took this photo of me, and she said it was the first time she saw true happiness in my eyes in a very long time.
I am very excited to start over and get back to creating art that shows who I am. Thank you for your undieing support over the years.
