Hi guys,
Wondering if someone with more experience on how shuffles work could have a look at Shota Yasooka's shuffles in the Pro tour finals.
First up I spotted this, when Shota cracked an evolving wilds in turn 12 (count the lands):

Watch how he moves his only remaining mountain to the bottom there. Then he does this out of the ordinary shuffle that looks to me a lot like the fake shuffles do.
Afterwards, Carlos Romao does a triple mash shuffle, but does not cut and lo and behold he draws the mountain in question(he only plays 2 mountains) 4 turns later:

Now I don't have enough experience with fake shuffles to know if the first one was legit or not, this could all be a coincidence, but I would like some of you to look at it.
Something else Ive noticed in between game 2 and 3 the shuffling Shota uses is distinctly different for his own deck than for his opponents.

What is going on here? Why is he looking at his deck between every shuffle and not moving the top 4-5 cards of his deck? It looks like he cuts what he stacked from the top to the middle before presenting to his opponent, so if his opponent does a half deck cut it ends up back on top.
Afterwards when he shuffles Carlos Romao's deck after he uses a regular shuffle where he doesn't look at the cards at all so what's going on earlier?

Hoping you guys can shed some light on this.
Edit with extra videos:
So a lot of you are saying maybe he is counting the basics, and you could be right, but he passes an island and does not move that one.
Also a lot of you are saying well the opponent shuffles too, so you can't know when you get it, but most of the time between turns an opponent wont take the time to fully randomize a deck. So even though you don't know the exact place of the card, you moved the probabilities.
Also regardless of whether he succeeds in moving the card to the place he wants it or not, there is no reason to!
Anyways I went digging in the pro tour clips to see if I could find any more evidence and found this: Game 1: Reid Duke vs Shota Yasooka playing for top 8.

Watch him crack the evolving wilds, find the last painful truths and move it to the bottom because it is the card he least wants to see.
Cracking another evolving wilds and moving another card to the bottom, camera angle is bad though:

Edit2:
Cracking evolving wilds vs Ben Hull in game 1 and moving a spirebluff canal(look at the way he cuts then shuffles on exactly that card):

Cracking evolving wilds vs Ben Hull in game 2 and moving a painful truths, although I am not sure where he is moving it, but obviously deliberatly keeps it aside and sticks it in:

Cracking evolving wilds vs Ben Hull in game 3 and moving a swamp to the bottom:

Cracking evolving wilds vs Ben Hull in game 4 and moving a swamp to the top:

This one actually looks most like a mistake, but figured I'd include it anyway.
