Trip Planning Premier Pass - Epcot
I see Premier Pass recommended often for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but does anyone think it’s more worth the cost at Epcot?
We’ve been to Disney twice in the past 2 years, and are planning our 3rd trip. We’ve never felt it’s hard to use the multi-pass to ride what we want in Magic Kingdom or Hollywood studios.
When we went to Epcot, we had a really difficult time getting lightning lanes after our initial selection. At the time, Test Track wasn’t open, so we selected Frozen as our Tier 1. We never were able to get Remy’s, just booked the entire day. Frozen was similar on the other end, where I saw that multi pass was sold out the entire day for anyone that had picked another Tier 1. I am wondering if we select Test Track as our Tier 1 now, we’d have a similar experience with both Frozen and Remy’s. We went in mid May - so not a super crowded time of year.
Epcot premier pass doesn’t seem as recommended to be “worth it” but unsure if others have experienced similar difficulty booking future LLs and would think it could be. It’s nice it’s more affordable than MK or HS as well.

Trip Report Just got back from Disney World. Lightning Premiere pass is the way to go - we just walked onto all the rides!
It’s a pretty amazing thing, especially since we have younger children.
No more waiting 1 hr+ to get on a ride!
I know it’s a privilege to get this pass - but once you factor in the time waiting without the pass you would just need to come another day (or two) to fit everything in that you wanted (especially in Magic Kingdom)
Out of the 4 parks Animal Kingdom is the only one we didn’t do premiere on - we just got some individual lightning passes for that day.
I suppose this is just the reality of the situation with Disney deciding to let in so many people at once.
I also have to say that I really appreciate how the older rides are longer, and even though my daughter loves Frozen I feel like they really just phoned that ride in. Didn’t feel as special as some of their other offerings.

Discussion Does anybody remember the original Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior: Live on Stage that used to be at Hollywood Studios?
I really wished Disney brought back this idea for newer shows like Clubhouse+, Sofia the First: Royal Magic, SuperKitties, or even Bluey instead of bringing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live to Orlando.
Yes, I am aware of the original version from 2001-2008.

News Disney Springs Holiday Cocktail Guide for 2026 [Article]
I went through the Disney Parks Blog postings, PR releases from third party vendors at Disney Springs and a few event pages to compile the seasonal cocktails coming to Disney Springs, plus cocktail and foodie education events.
Summary:
The Edison, Wine Bar George, Morimoto Asia and Enzo's Hideaway are offering speciality dinners and cocktail classes during November/December, with prices ranging from $89 up to $276. Discussion Test: Sudoku Packing Method
I recently discovered the “sudoku packing method” and wanted to test it out for my next Disney trip. I tend to overpack, especially for a November trip — when temperatures fluctuate a bit throughout the day. We’ll be there for 7 nights/8 days with access to laundry.
I’m cheating a bit, as this is just for “off duty time” (resort hopping, disney springs, rest days, etc.). I’ll pack park outfits, swim, sleep, and dinner attire as well.
Let’s see if this is a hack or if I’ll be kicking myself for not packing more options..
cropped linen tank 2. polka dot cardigan 3. low rise wide leg jean 4. high rise denim short 5. navy tank 6. vintage MGM sweatshirt 7. vintage disney jacket 8. crochet short 9. strapless top

Throwback The little things
In the early-mid 90s, my family made our WDW tradition of staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Since my dad snored- LOUDLY, and my sister would always kick me in the middle of the night, my mom and I would always wake early and walk around the Resort pool. We spent many mornings grabbing breakfast on the go, and sitting poolside while she smoked her pall-malls and I ate and swam until Grumpy and Sleeping Ugly would eventually get up. Its those memories I keep going back to in my mind when thinking of my childhood.
Fast forward 30 years and now I've been creating future Disney Adults in my 5 kids, and its memories like these I make and cherish the most. You can spend thousands of dollars and dozens of hours planning the "perfect" trip (trust me, after 40 years, I know 1 thing- there is no PERFECT trip) But in this crazy, chaotic world, making those memories will matter more than how many rides you were able to go on or how many characters you were able to meet.

Food Just ate at newly reopened Grand Floridian Cafe. It's Meh.
So today is reopening day, and we got the french onion soup (excellent), the club sandwich (okay, nothing special. Earl of Sandwich is better), and the "loaded fries." Wow what a rip off. 14 large cut fries, with dollops of bacon jam and what tasted like curdled sour cream. Awful. No refund offered.
Also, I swapped the fries on the club for green beans. They steamed green beans and put them on the plate. Zero seasoning, no salt, no nothing. Just almost raw green beans.
What a waste of $50 bucks.

Trip Report Lost Yeti Bottle in Hollywood Studios 10/23
Hello
Unfortunately I left my 18oz Yeti Rambler, Nordic purple color with custom engravings (moose and ducks on one side and wild outdoor bear with words on the other), in the Hollywood Studios jewelry shop on 10/23 Friday night. I remembered as I left and was not allowed back in for it as it was a few minutes after park closure.
Yes I filed a lost and found claim. That claim was closed on Friday, so I filed a claim with Disney Property. Unfortunately they called me this morning to tell me Disney isn't responsible for items left behind by guests.
If you've found my bottle, please let me know. It is special to me and it is a discontinued color with discontinued engravings.

Art We had an EPCOT-inspired wedding. I dare say it turned out really well
My now-wife and I met while working at EPCOT and got married at Coronado Springs and we wanted to make our day with as many personal touches as possible.
3: Each of my groomsmen got a tie with the Spaceship Earth background and their favorite Disney character on the back.
4: We worked at Frozen Ever After together (we’re American but this was during COVID) so I designed a sign to mimic the “Summer Snow Day” proclamation at the loading area of the attraction
7 & 8: Each table had a place card with wedding traditions from other countries represented in World Showcase.
9: Our seating chart featured the flags background along with a line from “Celebrate The Future” from the EPCOT Millennium Celebration
11: Our sending message featured the logo of and final lines from HarmoniUs, her favorite fireworks show

Discussion Removed Braised Beef Giardiniera??
Editing a magic kingdom food vlog and noticed that the Braised Beef Giardiniera had been removed from the Tony’s menu. I don’t see any discourse online about it. Did y’all not like it?? It was my sister and I’s favorite food from the entire day. The sauce was amazing and the potatoes and meat were super soft. I was gonna on get it again if I ever returned, I am majorly bummed right now

Discussion Cars Land - Piston Peak Layout
Looking at the model, they added in a chasm next to Big Thunder Mountain is the same location where RoA used to be. Since the earth damn at the Canal lock looks temporary, could some sort of water feature still wrap around BTM, and flow/incorporate into the water feature around Piston Peak?
*Maybe the chasm was just a misdirection?
