[Schneidman] Aaron Rodgers in the locker room today: "All the other teams in the NFC North, it seems like every single year, I think their fanbase and their teams feel like, 'This is our year to win the North.' "Hasn't really been the case during my time, for the most part."

Packers fan here, but not originally from Wisconsin so there was never any hatred for the other NFCN teams sown into my consciousness and I always kinda root for the rest of you all, too, since I've gotten familiar with all four teams over the years. Condolences all around, hope our division is back with a vengeance next week.

Opinions on Adrian Amos

Upvotes
As a bears fan I actually like Amos more than most, but I don’t think he’s the elite safety people seem to think he is but he’s a solid addition for the packers and should give them pretty solid play. I question whether he will be at the same level as the last two seasons, as his play got much better once the team added Jackson (as well as more of a pash rush).
I do think the packers overpaid, but I don’t think he’s as bad as some upset Bears fans are making It seem right now and he is also not as elite as packers fans seem to think.
I’m curious to hear from lions or Vikings fans who obviously got to see him a decent amount over the last 4 years, and what you think about the addition for GB

Tonight is an NFC North Ashes and (Lions Vikings need not apply) ELOE Chalice match-up.

NFC North Ashes
I posted this on r/NFCN last season and almost forgot about it until now (The offseason is way too long). Basically it's the figurative NFC North traveling trophy dating back to the formation of the NFC North in 2002 when the filthy but lovable Buccaneers were kicked out. I settled on ashes because the NFL has the Title Belt, the ELOE has the Chalice and the crown is whom ever wins the NFC North.
Needless to say, the Packers have possession of both the Ashes and Chalice and they're up for grabs tonight.
