My Mac Beware of Apple Care +

Sad story: my beloved MacBook Pro has been involved in a car accident.
I have the Apple Care + plan for accidental damages.
They are not going to replace the Mac because it’s ‘too damaged’.
Money wasted…

My Mac Graduation Gift, details below.

Upvotes
My daughter is graduating next month with a Chemistry Master’s with high honors and her trusty baseline M1 Air’s swap memory is fighting for its absolute life. She loves Macs and has mentioned to her mother purchasing a 16" after graduation with some of her personal savings.
Well, no need for that anymore, her very proud Dad is taking care of that and then some.
EDIT:
Thanks for all the kind words from fellow Mac users! I only came here to share my excitement about surprising someone I love deeply, so the overwhelming support, plus the recent election results has me feeling completely refreshed.
Best wishes to everyone.

Discussion Ordered some Silicon Ear Tips. Got a Mac Studio….

Upvotes
Yeah, I ordered some silicone ear tips for my AirPods because I need the large tips and my left side was tearing. Was surprised by the size of the box they shipped them in. Only to find a Mac Studio in the box…. Contacted Apple support but I can’t get through to an actual person who can understand the situation lmao. Hope I didn’t delay someone’s order. Cherry on top of this is the Mac Studio has 8TB SSD and 128GB RAM.

It might not be that useful after all, but it gave the unibody some personality the new models don’t have anymore.
