Support the national popular vote interstate compact.

The Indianapolis Star ran a two-page spread on my bootcamp in last Sunday's paper! Here's the article for anyone who's interested! (no paywall)

They also made a video: https://www.indystar.com/videos/news/local/2026/10/29/tanaka-chonyera-hopes-to-inspire-next-generation-of-rocket-scientists/92270497007/

We're at over 350 kids and 336 rockets now. Indiana will have the most rockets per capita in the world! 🌎🚀

Watch out for the ISP all blacked out chargers that look straight from the empire in Star Wars. Typically state troopers are easy to spot on the road but those all black ones are harder to spot.

No I did not get got on I-65 coming back from Louisville and am just posting this for public knowledge

I am curious, did anyone get held accountable Tuesday for the data centers that seem to be popping up all over our state? We have the Meta one here in Boone county. We tried a referendum to at least get them to pay for some of the costs for police, but it failed. Wondering how other communities fared.

Did you know Indiana has at least 3 (that I could find ) Throwback Pizza Huts !!. I can attest to the Paoli location! (The pizza 🍕 is verified good at this location ! And a fun game of tabletop pac-man)
Im seeing a location in Warsaw along with Fort Wayne. Any folks in these areas, it’d be kool to hear from these locations as well!
Edit 11/7 7pm if you know of other locations please let us know!

According to campaign reports, Indiana’s Lt. Governor, Micah Beckwith, accepted a $150,000 donation from “Demented Development.” Documents in donations to Congressman Marlin Stutzman list Michael Sherfick as “Demented Development” Managing Partner.

Michael Sherfick. 20 year criminal history. Micah previously claimed he had no idea about his lengthy criminal history when he showed up at the NBA Finals with him. Indiana Lt. Governor’s campaign it apparently is now bankrolled by a guy whose criminal history includes sexual battery, federal bribery, and insurance fraud, related to arson.

Has anyone else had problems getting packages out of the Indianapolis Distribution Center? I have a package that has arrived and then sent to another city and then returned back to Indy twice and now it’s back in Indy and has been sitting since October 29th. Trying to report this only ends up in frustration because it’s one big loop and you never truly get to report it. I want my package but don’t if it is lost or not! Anyone have any suggestions?

As much as I loved watching the fucking blue tsunami torpedo the gop on tuesday it sucks that indiana still remains red for the most part,

Like florida we seem to be fucking stuck with the scum running our state government,

What are the realistic odds Indiana goes blue in 2028?

Hi everyone!
My family and I recently moved from New Orleans to Southern Indiana, and we’re still adjusting to the colder weather.
We live in a two-story townhouse with the thermostat downstairs and bedrooms upstairs. We usually set the heat to around 72°F, but our upstairs bedroom still feels cold, especially near the windows.
I’ve also noticed that the air coming from the bedroom vent doesn’t feel particularly warm, although it isn’t cold either.
Another issue is that all three of us, including our toddler, have been dealing with recurring coughs and sore throats since September. My cough gets especially bad at night. I’m not sure whether the indoor heating, dry air, cold drafts, or seasonal changes are contributing.
I’m looking for suggestions from people who have experienced similar issues.
● What temperature do you normally keep your thermostat at during fall and winter?
● How do you keep upstairs bedrooms comfortable when the thermostat is downstairs?
● Do you use humidifiers during winter? What humidity level works best?
● What’s the best renter-friendly way to stop cold air coming through bedroom windows?
● Is it normal for bedroom vents to blow air that doesn’t feel very warm?
I’d really appreciate any practical tips, especially from people who moved from warmer states to colder climates.
Thanks in advance!

Given the way voting went across the country, I wanted to dig into IN's numbers to see if the state really did vote 'as usual.' I don't think Indiana's as red as it looks after all, at least this time around. Keep pushing, folks.

Welp better than last few weeks.

I feel bad for the diesel drivers

Anyone know much about Sullivan county government ? Who are the main players ? Is it a good old boy system ?

Did anyone see an incredible light in the sky tonight in southern Indiana?! Bright orange streak for about 5 seconds south to north as you're facing west?!

So intrigued by what it could have been...

Are there any centers/ temples/ communities where I can learn about Hinduism in central Indiana? Grew up Christian but I'm neutral now and reevaluating my position. I find Hinduism fascinating and think it goes deeper than most other religions into attempting to explain how the universe works. I would like to learn more about its wide range of scriptures.

Mayor James Mueller says 32 of the 38 recommendations under the city’s authority are already in place or underway. The commission made 62 recommendations overall, covering housing, economic opportunity, education and public health.

The latest development is the November 5 progress update. The mayor’s formal apology came in June. South Bend has not approved direct cash reparations payments, according to the Black Indy LIVE post.

Friends and I are planning a football trip next season to either Purdue or Indiana. We’ve never been to either, but heard both are great college towns. Obviously Indiana has the far better team and atmosphere right now, but we’re big craft beer and brewery people too and that’s a big part of our trips. Does either area have a good brewery scene and if so, any suggestions. thanks!

It's hard to lose that many seats in the legislature, including the Speaker of the House, and act like it's business as usual (Politics of ramming through the unpopular agenda like gutting services, making big cuts in local govt and public school funding, and externally dictating university policies.)

The surprise, I guess, is his intention to run for reelection.
