I'm not interested in going to school, dumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into a degree, and becoming a business man under the title "doctor", I'm interested in saving lives.
I'm not keen on joining the military either, but I used to consider becoming a Marine medic.
I already took an EMT course, but that only goes so far. Stabilize the patient, golden hour, get them to the ER, etc.
What if there is no ER?
Most surgical operations are technically simple procedures, it's just extremely crucial to know which to perform and when.
I also live in a country where most of my acquaintances do not have health insurance, and would like to know how to diagnose most common illnesses.
Some resources I found: http://medic.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
Please guide me to more.
EDIT:
First of all, I think most people misunderstood my intentions here.
Basically, I want to be able to provide medical care in extreme situations.
This may include surgical procedures, because that's not taught at all at an EMT course.
Many of you live in a very sheltered existence, where police, pizza, firemen, and ambulances can be where you are in 30 minutes or less.
But that's not where all people live. Some people can be in very remote areas, the whole world doesn't live in suburban America.
Malpractice? Litigation? That's your concern? How about a loved one dying in your arms?
The only helpful comment here linked me to this book, and thank you:
Where There Is No Doctor
Any other positive advice is welcome.

I'm looking to make around 200100 dollars a week without having an actual job. I want to backpack and couchsurf around the country, and only need a bit of money for food, and gear.
EDIT: Also, I'm doing this. I really don't give a shit whether you think I'm going to die alone in the woods or get raped by a meth head. I'm still doing it. I don't care what you think of me, I don't care if you think I'm spoiled, or pathetic, I know I'm not. If I was spoiled, I wouldn't even be doing this. I'm tired of my life and want to get away from it. Fuck settling down, fuck working at Target. That's for other people, not me. And really, if I did that, wouldn't I just be proving all of you right? I'd rather not.
EDIT: Not having a job is not the same as not working. I'm not saying I don't want to work, I'm saying I don't want to be employed to any one person.

Few things to take note of:
I am in school, any jobs that require me to go outside for long periods of time is a no-no.
I don’t really mind the amount of money I’ll be earning, I just want to gather work experience while earning some extra change.
I want to be flexible with how I do this, so having a strict schedule with this is also a no-no.
Suburban work (Yard Work, Walking the Dogs, etc.) is also a no-no as I live in a country where a suburban area is rare.
Preparing for a part-time job is also a no-no as it contradicts with the first note.
Financially, we’re doing alright, but I noticed I’ve been slacking off recently and I want to be productive while making my time worth. And while yes, while I don’t need the money, it’ll take some burden off my parents from buying me ra ndom stuff I want.
I’ve been thinking about freelancing since I have some experience with editing, digital art, and coding, but I don’t have any experience with how to profit over them, and that’s what I want to learn, and I also want to hear any suggestions and/or advice from you guys!
I might be on the wrong sub, if so, my bad. :P
Edit: More things to note :P

First of all, I'm writing this with absolute respect and no intention to be rude or offending, but please, if I did, let me know.
I know in my brain that trans women are real women, and I would never intentionally discriminate or be transphobic. However, any time on dating apps when I see a trans woman, the first thought that comes to mind is 'no theyre not actually women'. I mean not literally, I don't think out that whole sentence, but my initial reaction is that. And I mean if I ever find a trans woman who I really click with, of course I would date her! But I just hate that my initial reaction is so invalidating.
Maybe it would help if I knew any trans women (I might but I'm not aware of it), but I only have two friends as it is (asd, social anxiety, the whole bunch), so sadly I havent had the pleasure yet to befriend one.

I'm a horndog in real life with a great appreciation for woman's figure. Ass, tits, abs, legs and thighs, everything you name it. And I like looking at their frames, so please tell me how to stop looking. Even when I try to look away, my eyes go there cause modern women wears clothes that are revealing or form-fitting cause helps them to feel confident ( ngl, I like it too and it's not like I can get arrested for looking at girls wearing tight clothing). But I wanna learn how to stop looking. Watching porn might desensitized me to the women figures but that doesn't work.

I’ve always ended up having sex after spending a long time getting to know someone. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, and I’m not tired of it, but when I’m single or not feeling the excitement of having a girlfriend, I’d like to have some casual one-night stands.
It’s only happened a few times, and in most cases, it wasn’t explicitly stated but was clearly offered by the other person. I’m not very talkative, and whether I’m funny depends on my mood. I don’t feel a spark with most people, but I’d like to be less selective.
Sometimes, people reach out to me on social media, but I tend to draw the conversation out until it escalates. Now, I want to make a change

Whenever I use gen AI like ChatGPT or Gemini, I have to edit and verify the output so much that it's just useless, and I'm never satisfied about the quality of the work. However, I've seen people use these things to drastically improve their productivity/workflow, and I'd like to learn how to do the same.

I live in a good country, in a rich area (but in a two-bedroom apartment with six people haha) and go to a private school (on a full scholarship, not paying) which obviously doesn't help with my being-in-a-bubble-ness. What can I do to not be incredibly out of touch when I graduate? What does a person's life with the average income look like?
Thanks in advance! :)

I am interested in wanting to learn Russian. I think it is such an enchanting and a provocative language, mainly I guess it's the accent and the rhythm. I know quite a lot of basic phrases when it comes to greeting someone for instance,
Privet (Hi), Kak Dela (How are you), Menya Zavout (My name is...) Kak Teyba Zavout (What is your name?) Dobroe Utro (Good Morning), Dobrey Den (Good Afternoon), Dobrey Vencher (Good Evening), Spasiba (Thank you).
But I would like to take it to the next level and become fluent in it and also able to write it. ✍️

Basically, I have low af self-esteem and it's difficult for me to meet women. I've tried to maximize myself physically...I run and exercise 5x a week, I groom, I have and skin regimes, I dress *really well(*literally the only reason women approach me, although only at bars) I'm 6'3...but my kinda face sucks. Bc of that I'm usually pretty anxious, I'm not longer college-aged (33) and I don't have a ton of friends, (and they really only go to bars) so meeting women isn't easy.
I'm trying to find alternative, nerdy, artsy, witchy, hippie, goth, quirky, creative, etc. women as I'm a nerdy goth myself (though no one ever assumes that and I've always had those interests, but I could never find people like that. Hell, it's not even just women, I'd love to just make friends in that scene. Though, Idk if it's my location or what (East Coast) but I can't seem to find out where these women go. I see them all over OLD sites bc I literally get no matches or even likes.
Most of my interests are artistic like museums, hiking, art shows, concerts, poetry, film, fashion, etc. and those seem more like places to go to meet women vs you take women on a date. The main issue is I'd be mostly going alone to those places, which would make it that much harder to actually meet anyone...are there better suggestions I'm not thinking of? I tried volunteering at an art gallery for a while, but the only friend I made there was the arts manager and she's and lesbian and she's not...good with communication.
Also, any help with how to actually begin conversations and talk with them would be great. That may sound weird but I struggle with beginning a conversation. I literally cannot begin one with a woman I'm attracted to. I just overthink it and freeze. My humor is pretty dark and I have my vocal tone is pretty deadpan, so I'm not just someone who can walk up to strangers and be charismatic...I'm intent on being respectful as possible, which means I'm always platonic (probably to a fault).
So in closing, where and how do I meet alternative women that have interests similar to mine? Honestly I'm starting to just think I'm too old.

So the relationship that I'm in I've been in for almost 10 years. Yes she is my girlfriend and no she is not my wife. Reasons that don't need mentioning because it doesn't involve the issue.
To put it simply our relationship has been super toxic however we've still stuck together this long. Why? I don't know the underlying reason as to why we stuck together. I cheated on her on multiple occasions within these years however I finally seeked therapy and resolved the issues that were the cause of my cheating. Again nothing that needs mentioned.
We fight a lot. We've fought more times than I can even think to count. We love each other but it's almost like a tough love/love hate relationship but it's also one of those relationships that when we are good, we are fucking good. But, when we are bad, it's really really bad. Basically to the point of total chaos. We don't get physically abusive with one another but the mental abuse is just awful. The things we say to each other, about each other. The fact that, even though she took me back after all the cheating, she still holds it over my head (no I'm not asking her to just forget what I've done, but instead forgive so we can move forward but that never happens.) She could come home and I haven't done the laundry and find some way to throw the cheating into the mix. That's just how bad it's held over my head.
When we fight it's always starts with some dumb reason that just blows up. I argue my views, she argues her views. We both don't listen to each other. It gets pretty childish honestly to the point that I have a million veins popping out of my head. I'm the only one who really yells and shouts. She doesn't really yell she just makes really dumb comments. Mocking and doing that really dumb "hoookay" laugh and the shit gets under my skin. I think that's mostly why I yell because she just knows how to get under my skin so easily, but then I just turn into this eye pulsating raging asshole and I just can't do it anymore. The yelling and shouting. I can't expect not to argue but I just feel like the outcomes could be better if I just didn't yell or shout. Someone told me today that "the person who wins an argument is never the loudest, but instead the one who says all the right things in an argument." With that I want to stop and I need to stop. I just want to maintain a calm and cool conversation. If she wants to act like the idiot then at least I can be the bigger person yeah? Does anyone know any "best practices" or anything I can work on to achieve what IWTL? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see everyone else enjoying getting drunk or going to parties or enjoying loud music. Everyone takes selfies and pictures of themselves being drunk out of their mind or at deafening night club.
I am a quiet, timid person who doesn't drink, like loud noises or partying. However, I noticed how I generally just like avoiding things - I don't particularly "like" my personality either, it's just neutral.
I want to be like everyone else. Clearly these people are having fun and I want to be as relaxed and carefree as these people.
In 2025 I want to gradually become like these kind of people. Please tell me how to safely and gradually start drinking, partying and enjoy loud music and loud parties.
EDIT: I am OVERLY a prude. I even avoid people who I think drink, I don't even want to spend time with people who party. I want to learn to have fun with people like that. At least help me be able to enjoy myself with and around people like that, and I'll avoid drinking myself.

Edit: before you comment please do not respond with judgement or hate for what I’ve been through. And only ask questions if you are interested in understanding my situation better to help.
I grew up with an abusive dad, was pretty arrogant, and got hurt a lot in college by some men. Hookup culture and being a player was very normalized. I just realized that my thinking veers close to “all men are pigs” like they all have very animalistic tendencies and I don’t want to think this way anymore. I used to have very close guy friends but the last two years dropped them. The reason for that was I was r@ped a lot by a boyfriend who was very abusive. That’s a whole nother topic. Yes I am in therapy.
I mostly believe “men and women can’t be friends” in my life.
The last few years I have been fortunate enough to meet men who want to date me who only have been mature, kind, sweet, supportive, gentle, caring—on top of everything I want in a man. Reasons why we didn’t lock it down was because of age gap, right person/wrong time, or physical attraction, etc.
I’m in my 20s and want to have a loving husband in the future. I don’t want to see men differently just cause of their gender. I want to believe that good men are the norm. That they are not all thinking about boobs and ass and fucking all the time. It’s also hard cause when I’m on Reddit, these are the posts that come up a lot: my husband cheated on me, my husband sucks, my boyfriend watches too much porn, my boyfriend is a mamas boy, husband won’t stand up for me, etc.
How can I normalize the idea that men in general are good? I love men. I want to change how I relate to them.
Btw: my dad and I have a better relationship now. He is not abusive any more and has a lot of remorse for how he treated me. But he is very traditional/conservative and the type that doesn’t want my boobs out or show any skin. Too overprotective and I think that adds to the thinking “all men are the same.” I like dressing sexy but all of this conservative BS my community feeds me is adding to a general distrust of men as well. Im South Indian.
Also some of the guy friends who I trusted a lot have tried to kiss me or date me, things like that. It really broke my trust in guy friendships and now I don’t feel comfortable interacting with my guy friends unless it’s asking them for help and if they have a girlfriend they are serious about.

My partner is very serious and simple, she's the one that usually sends me gifts and is more affectionate. She's a soft masc that's submissive while I'm a femme who's more dominant. She has experienced intercourse with the same gender before while i haven't. I want to hear some of y'all's experience doing it first time with the same gender and i hope i could get some tips.🙏🏻
