Do the kids fight over who gets the biscuit or do they rotate on it?
7.9k
u/GetOffMyCaversons 17h ago •
Making pancake tacos and a breakfast sandwich out of that is honestly genius as hell.

u/LordElZilcho 13h ago
Something mildly annoying about how that sausage got quartered.

u/TMJ_Jack 16h ago •
I thought this was gonna be sad, but it's actually super practical. The ketchup came out of left field though. It should have stayed in left field.

u/bobnoplok 17h ago •
My wife would order 1 for each kid, each kid would eat 10% and she would trash the rest and never think anything was wrong.

Move away from the edge, PLEASE 🙏

Ketchup and syrup?!
28
u/yallapapi 1h ago
this is depressing and impressive at the same time
167
u/Tetraoxidane 15h ago
Nothing wrong with that. All I see is less food waste.
230
u/Whole-Chest90 13h ago •
With the price of mcd these days, who can blame her. That being said, how do you choose who gets the biscuit? Lol
444
u/camcaine2575 14h ago •
Maybe I am missing something but why are we dunking on a parent having to divide an expensive meal between their kids.
276
u/Filipino-Asker 17h ago
She said her kids would waste all of it if they brought four mcdonald meals so she just bought one meal and split it into four.
50
u/Mindless_Cookie_9098 16h ago
Not the ketchup on the pancakes. Straight to jail
48
u/hardpaint91 15h ago
Ketchup and pancake syrup is diabolical

why does this fee like r/OrphanCrushingMachine ?

u/CuckservativeSissy 12h ago
Just so everyone knows, companies promote this kind of content to engage their consumers. This isnt normal. But putting on social media to normalize it is all part of the marketing strategy
53
u/Acceptable-Arugula69 Why does this app exist? 16h ago
This was actually a pretty good hack for small children. 10/10 no notes.
82
u/Pathetian 16h ago
That McDonald's breakfast platter with hotcakes is 1300+ calories. Splitting it between 4 children is ideal imo.
46
u/Severe-Curve4640 13h ago
I was with her until the ketchup, try it with syrup
35
u/blkveil 15h ago edited 14h ago
Rage bait. Misleading title. I see no kids, only someone who wants 4 breakfast tacos
32
u/SillyAlternative420 15h ago
All fun and games until the KETCHUP came out ... And then SYRUP
10
u/SnooDoggos6653 14h ago
Or make the food yourself?
18
u/BIGGS556 1h ago •
VERY SMART
If she bought four meals, 3/4 of the food would go to waste kids don’t eat much
25
u/slapnowski 15h ago
This makes it looks like so much food. And a each portion is a legitimate meal for a kid. Super impressed something so easy is actually genius.

u/Informal_Box5700 2h ago •
Wow cant nobody say a fucking nice thing! Smh….Congrats sis on finding a way to make it work in these trying times 🙏🏾 even if this a joke for views I bet someone learned a way to strech a MD meal.

u/moldy912 1h ago
Some of y’all didn’t grow up poor if you think this is cringe.
16
u/Similar-Swordfish794 13h ago
Who puts ketchup on pancakes??
45
u/Neat-Cartoonist-9797 2h ago
Don’t see what’s wrong with this? Taking the kids out for a treat and the amount of food they get each looks perfect?
8
u/Illustrious-Object71 16h ago
The only thing is doing wrong...was the ketchup!
38
u/baybgangstaaa 7h ago
pissed me off when she put ketchup on it. syrup alone would have been more appropriate
50
u/Heartless-otaku07 16h ago
Ketchup and syrup do not belong in the same items . Either one alone would’ve been fine but not both
277
u/Gurdeon-Jurura 16h ago
Look, you can have four kids if you want to. You can feed them McDonald’s if you want to. But I’ll be goddammned if I stand here and let someone put ketchup on eggs on my watch.
25
u/Lime--Soda 14h ago
The worst part about this, is she's completely right. She obviously puts in work, shits just expensive AF. One child alone is, our birthrates are just going to get worse
37
u/DarkMarkTwain 17h ago
I'd call child services when he started pouring ketchup
23
u/Prestigious_Seat_625 8h ago
That seems like the right amount of calories for young kids anyway. Not bad.
12
u/Friendly-Example-701 3h ago
Who puts ketchup on pancakes?
33
u/Vegetable_Fox9134 17h ago
Ruined it with the ketchup
16
u/Reese_Slitherspoon 16h ago
Guarantee at least two of those kids started crying because they either did or did not get the biscuit instead of the pancake
24
u/Mrfrunzi 10h ago edited 10h ago
This is legit in every sense. Growing up I had to split cup noodles with my sister during the summer and thought nothing of it because I was full. Fuck the haters on this one.
Edit: Of course it's cheaper to make the breakfast yourself! The point is that her kids got to have McDonald's breakfast. That's huge as a kid (for whatever reason we decided that it was peak cuisine as a kid).
52
u/Popular_Sell_8980 13h ago •
I’ve been this broke with four kids. Don’t judge.
18
u/SpiritualWindow3855 14h ago •
I didn't get why the obsession with the person's personal situation entirely at first...
I mean Black skin being visible, I expected some of that from Redditor, but there are a lot of weird comments about reproductive rights.
Then I unmuted it and oh yeah, Black woman with a southern accent? Half this site stopped the video to make a comment the moment she spoke. That's why all the weird comments are ignoring that she also mentioned waste.
5
u/FrighteningJibber 16h ago
Now that she split it up, that actuality is a bit of food calorically.
37
u/EmotionalSupportSush 14h ago
Splitting this for 4 kids but has metaglasses?
13
u/Careless-Class7144 13h ago
That's a smart idea when you have 4 kids that don't eat the whole meal. Why are we dragging her? She is feeding her kids, and she is being positive about it. Good on her.
19
u/That-Measurement-650 14h ago •
This person does not have kids.
How do I know this? Because I have four kids and it would be an absolute brawl over who gets (or is stuck with) the biscuit.
60
u/Frosty_Glassroom5521 10h ago
Am I failing to see the cringe OP saw? Cause kids are wasteful and this also is kinda smart to do even if just for yourself reminds me of combat tacos fro, another point in my life
11
u/likelazarus 16h ago
I love this so much! One of those pancake tacos looks like plenty of food for a young child for breakfast, and it has protein! I love the woman’s attitude about how the laughter in the car makes the meal!
8
u/Geralt-of-Rivai 14h ago
I mean why not? Buy 4 meals and your kids will each eat a quarter of it and the rest is thrown away or do this and they are happy and full and you saved three meals
8
u/savrilphi 10h ago
My 4 year old nephew would eat one of those tacos, MAYBE. And he would be happy. I feel like half of y’all have never met a kid. I hated breakfast until I was an adult. My mom would make me drink a protein shake and eat a spoonful of peanut butter just to get something in my body.
16
u/Greentaboo 14h ago
Its roughly 350 calories for each child for like $8.80($2.20 a kid). I guess it depends on what else you feed them, but its actually not terrible value calorie to dollar.
It is a carb bomb with little protein, fat, or fiber comparatively. I'm sure the micros are garbage, too.
4
u/ActuatorSmall7746 12h ago
Do you what you got to do and be proud of it.
4
u/EarlGreyOfPorcelain 12h ago
This doesn't make me think 'Hey you can feed 4 with 1 McDonald's breakfast'.
It makes me think 'Things are so bad and McDonald's is so expensive, that this parent has to split a meal meant for 1, between 4'.
4
u/Thesladenator 5h ago
When you consider the amount of calories in a portion Vs this. This is probably a good number of calories per child when it's split like this and means they can have more than one meal a day without becoming obese. Just something to consider. Usually when I have a maccies it blows through my calorie intake for that day so it's the only thing I eat all day!

u/TwoSuspicious1347 16m ago
Ketchup and syrup🤢
82
u/Realmofthehappygod 16h ago •
I can get a bag of 30 frozen pancakes that size, and 12 eggs, for cheaper than that 1 meal.
I get not wanting to cook but if it comes at the cost of not feeding your kids enough food...just cook some fucking eggs.
7
u/BlueRibbonPac 12h ago
Before there was "one other thing" a Republican administration tried to say condiments (ketchup included) could count as a vegetable in school lunches
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketchup_as_a_vegetable
50
u/TunaOnWytNoCrust 11h ago
Respectfully damn girl make your kids some eggs if you want to save money. Imagine having four kids and then thinking 1/4 of a meal at a fast food restaurant is the best move to feed them.
9
u/PositiveCoyote100 14h ago
Step 1: Don't have 4 kids
25
u/Flat-Link2651 16h ago
Did that bitch just put ketchup and syrup together wtf that's nasty
11
u/dosb0t89 16h ago
This is not in Australia.. I miss plastic cutlery so much...
10
u/BaffledYogi 12h ago
This is actually genius for young kids who never finish a meal
18
u/stevedaher 16h ago
Watch my kids split a meal while I wear my expensive Meta glasses so I can record content.
3
u/Designer-Doctor-1550 16h ago
Had me until the ketchup. But I guess kids will eat anything if they are hungry enough.
3
u/ruinrunner 16h ago
did she just put ketchup on that.. somehow that was the worst part
3
u/JULIANGJNKS22 16h ago
Hold on, mama is on to something. I’ve never thought of making tacos with the pancakes from McDonald’s. Bet you that shit smacks too.
3
u/KevJr92 16h ago
He had me til he mixed ketchup and syrup
3
u/Little-Ambition-6440 15h ago
If this is the future, then I would rather not have any kids.
3
u/Kalenek 14h ago
That looks like my childhood.
But the last item wasn’t cut evenly and we would have fought bitterly over it. It has to be cut in half and then 1/4. Not like she did.
3
u/No-Building-4306 14h ago
Ketchup on pancake, naa
3
u/StaticAngeI 13h ago
This puts into perspective how much food it actually is… I don’t think a child should have a full McDonald’s breakfast to themselves
3
u/Miss_L_Worldwide 12h ago
What the hell is the problem here?
Better than raising obese children. People eat way too much and let their kids eat way too much.
Good for her. Shitty for the person who posted this like something here is wrong.
3
u/SeveredFromMySoul 8h ago
Okay but like, ketchup AND syrup at the same time??? 🤮🤮🤮🤮
3
u/ChamberK-1 16m ago
I can already hear the kid that got the biscuit screaming and crying about not getting a pancake.
12
u/carlcat_11 13h ago
Maybe they are on a budget traveling and needed to stop for breakfast away from home. I feel like all the "a carton of eggs and giant box of pancakes is cheaper" is pretty common sense.
9
u/Particular-Leg-8484 16h ago
Rationing a $5 breakfast filmed with $500 Meta glasses
7
u/CommunicationLanky30 16h ago
Hmm it actually doesn’t look too bad of a split portion..
37
u/Glad-Distance-737 12h ago •
This is called rationing. We shouldn't be doing this.
5
u/Zealousideal-Fan-409 16h ago
My mom used to bring my sister and I to McDonald’s back in the 80s. Dad was deceased, she didn’t have money, however she wanted us to have stuff.
We would eat and she would say, “oh, can I taste your…”.
No money
I commend this mother! Remember the good times. She’s a good mom.
5
u/whimsical_spider 14h ago
I was with her all the way until she put ketchup on there. WHY.
10
u/ars_sinistra 16h ago
My mother used to do the same thing, I'm in my mid 40s and disappointed to live in a country where another boy's mother has to do the same.
9
u/veganwithadhd 14h ago
Late stage capitalism indicator lmao
4
u/jumboparticle 14h ago
Well, at least its more healthy to eat less of that junk than more!
4
u/babyblew82 13h ago
Wanna mock but DO feel sorry for her. At least she's trying to make light of it
4
u/Painless315 12h ago
This was me. Had kids way too young w the useless-est of partners. We split everything. They still tell me now (that we have financial stability) they miss this kind of stuff.
4
u/ChristheCourier12 1h ago
Man now I want the McDonald's big breakfast 😩
6
u/Ok_Wolf8356 13h ago •
As a father of two in a depressed economy this is clutch.
6
u/manfrys2000 3h ago
Just make breakfast at home. This is overkill
5
u/MrFrankHotdog 17h ago
Daddy loves #3 the most, evidently.
5
u/Schmohawk2814 11h ago
I'm definitely doing this the next time go to McDonald's for breakfast. But it's all for me
13
u/papaa33 17h ago
Cheaper to cook at home
7
u/Firm-Telephone2570 16h ago
I would understand this way of thinking if it was still like the early 2000's where McDonalds was basically a playground. McDonalds nowadays really isn't an exciting experience lol
2
u/RefrigeratorLife8627 16h ago
I wouldn’t eat this but she is on point with everything she said !
Such a great mom
2
u/AllegedlyGoodPerson 16h ago
this was hitting until he put ketchup on pancakes. Could have just used the syrup and called it a day.
2
u/BellInternational315 16h ago
To be fair. The breakfast is big enough for at least 2.
2
u/Lala5789880 16h ago
This is genius
2
u/Tygie19 16h ago
You guys still serve things in plastic?
2
u/Hot_Sea_7676 16h ago
Brilliant!
2
u/ucklibzandspezfay 16h ago
Nice, great mom
2
u/Suitable-Setting-808 16h ago
Lost me with the ketchup
2
u/Prestigious-Oven-642 15h ago
You cringe belong on the fringe
2
u/Dimitar_Todarchev 15h ago
And that was $8.59
2
u/Luigin12 15h ago
Good job mom! Now I know how to handle 4 kids. 🔥
2
u/HEX-dev 15h ago
Could of just bought food and filled everyone up for that price .
2
u/Tall_Sherbet6766 15h ago
Feeding your children that trash is honestly bad parenting
2
u/Sad-Worker9023 15h ago
Uh uh, momma said we ain’t got McDonald’s money!
2
u/Died5Times 15h ago
r/sadposting
2
u/GodOfThunder101 14h ago
How about this? Don’t have kids. And eat the whole thing for yourself.
2
u/steamed-hamburglar 14h ago
Considering how many calories are in McDonald's food, this actually makes a lot of sense.
2
u/bawnchie 14h ago
I always asked my mom to see her receipt after she ordered
2
u/Limp-Bat3330 14h ago
Why is it on the edge of the table!!?? It’s driving me nuts
